I just brought a used Honda Odyssey 04, the bar had been broken, I've been driving around with it in that condition for 5 months now and I didn't even know it. 🤔.. so please inspect everything on your possible prospects.
hi, my grand cherokee sways right and left on highway at speeds after 50kms. this breaks my confidence and have to hold steering tighter and keep rolling to keep it straight on track. Is this the cause?
Can a bad sway bar cause excessive body roll? I have a an 02 Chevy avalanche that rocks back on forth on an ugly road I’ve changed the links so those are good the only thing I can notice is the sway bar is not tight I can wiggle it around but don’t know how to tighten it. Do you think that’s why I have body roll?
Yes, a bad sway bar can cause excessive body roll. This is because the sway bar's job is to reduce body roll by distributing the force when one side of the vehicle goes higher than the other, such as during turns or on uneven roads. If the sway bar is loose or damaged, it can't perform this function effectively, leading to more noticeable body roll. Tightening or replacing any worn parts connected to the sway bar, like bushings or links, should address the issue and improve stability.
I just got an alignment, and as they pulled it down off the ramp, my whole steering column turned I went to look underneath my vehicle, and both of my swaybar links are barely connected and have a gap between the threads and bushings, but they said it may be my opinion, but there’s no in my steering column also no leaks from my power steering should I just replace the swaybar links since both of them aren’t even tightened down.
The sway bar is a thin, tubular piece of metal bolted to the suspension on each side of the car, either at the front or the back and often both. Some vehicles are only equipped with a front sway bar.
Yup,i was hearing all kinds of clunking in the front passenger side😅 My baby is in the shop now❤
Great explanation now I know if I need to change my front sway bar

O don't mean to answer over him, but yes, I would replace both of them..
how often to sway bars break? bend? What about their links?
Could be work for 5 years more o less. Depend on how you drive and how you care your vehicle. But usually broke when you go over the road driveway..
But the sway bar is ONLY in the front axle?

How about when the bushings are fused to the sway bar and do not allow it to rotate?
Fire
Are you saying butt holes?
