Hello, It really depends on your need and usage. Both are the best in their segment. I had the same dilemma 4 months back and i chose the interceptor over the Himalayan 450. I previously had a Himalayan scram 411, it was one of the best bikes in terms of the engine and ergonomics, but when I went on the highways, i felt the lack of power. Interceptor perfectly fits well on both the highways and city roads. There is more than enough power that you will need on Indian roads, also the twin cylinders make your ride as smooth as butter. Himalayan will definitely be more comfortable for longer rides. Hence you need to make a choice on the basis of your needs and usage preferences.

Hello, Super meteor is the ultimate cruiser, but it has a few limitations in the city. If you are going to ride mainly on the highways then you can go ahead with it or else for a mix of city and highways, you can choose either the interceptor or the shotgun. Please have a test ride before you make the final decision.
Hey bro, I love the interceptor but my only concern with this bike is if it’s a good option to go for city commuting as most of my riding is going to be in traffic from Monday to Friday.
Hello, It is a good powerful bike for your daily city travel. It performs really well in traffic, narrow lanes, etc. If you can somehow manage the weight of it, which after a point of time you will become used to, then it will be ideal for you. Also don't forget to wear boots always as you will feel the engine heat especially in the city. It will also act as a perfect companion for your weekend rides on the highway and soft offroads.
Interceptor owner of 4 years here. It's a great bike overall. However, about your specific question - If you're in one of the metro cities and your daily commute is in bumper-to-bumper traffic, this is not the ideal bike to have for that. A less heavy bike with a lighter clutch would be better. And ideally for such conditions, a gearless two wheeler will be a better option any day (I have both). But the thing is, you don't buy an Interceptor for pure practicality too :) You will learn to live with it over time because the satisfaction it gives you in almost any situation will trump all inconveniences you have to put up with otherwise

Yes tubeless is always a better option but I went for the spoked ones as I am into off roading. Spoked wheels perform better off road.
