And yes, I almost forgot. The touring seat is very good!! With the stock seat, it pains after 40 mins of riding. With these, it is comfortable for continuous riding for about 200-300 kms. It is only normal that you take breaks, it is not only the seat, even your knees/ legs will need stretching. Just make sure you have decent riding pants (Rynox or RE are both good), and do take breaks, stretch, else you’ll have rashes on your ass if you push yourself too much. haha

EDC: zip ties, duck tape, JB Weld, knife, small first aid kit, air compressor, small tool kit, tire patch repair kit, poncho, tow strap, flashlight, gloves, carabiners, Paracord, wire saw, water, emergency thermal blankets,1qt. Oil and fire. +The things he mentioned specifically for his bike, like chain cleaner, lube, spare inner tubes, spare clutch cable, etc. All but the air compressor and 1qt. oil can be put in a fanny pack or very small bag. There are some new small air compressors. These things should be carried every day regardless of bike, car, truck, etc. unless you're just commuting locally.

It’s actually quite simple. And is defined by your purpose. If you want a cheap durable dual sport motorcycle that gives a good mileage and can take a lot of luggage, then yes go for Himalayan. If you want a motorcycle for riding in cities, straight road touring that has got some kick to it (a lot in cities), go for Interceptor650. ;)
Hiii ....if you help me out, I am really thankful to you ..... I'm facing a problem with the front part of interceptor a cracking sound comes (whenever bike goes on any speed breaker or potholes in the road)from either the shocker or from T. In warranty shocker has been changed as well as T too... thereafter the same cracking comes....i used to put air pressure 28/32 ...pls suggest what to do..... 🙏
I'm surprised people found it so bad with such an advanced bike. I've done Ladhak with an Electra 350 in 2010 - barely 15 hp at the wheel, barely 29 Nm of torque, 190 KG dry, Just 135 mm ground clearance, plain non-cv carb and terrible suspension. And I was a terribly novice rider. We had all sorts of problems including punctures, head gasket blowout, rocker block bolts shearing off, having to tow a Standard 350 with a Classic 500 at night, electricals failing and what not. Looks like everyone now expects so much of a bike that they have a terrible time even with the best ones. Seeing how the Classic 500 performed there, this INT 650 with 2.5x the power and 20% more torque, no vibration and so on, Ladhak should literally be a cakewalk!
The issue is too much fear. Fear of facing a puncture. Fear of not finding a mechanic who can repair and laziness of not learning to DIY. If that all happens then this bike can even go to Europe and come back with ease. 🫶🏽✌🏽

If off road is your main purpose, as in majority of it, go for Himalayan411. If not, then interceptor650 is your go to. If time is also not an issue then wait for a few more months, there are more motorcycles coming from Royal Enfield :) Thank you for watching the video!

Hey bro! Great video. I have a stock Interceptor and while going over uneven roads I hear a weird cracking sound from the front end. Is it the floating disc making sound. This has been irritating me for quite some time and even the RE service center is not able to help me
my interceptor 650 struggles to go beyond 3000 rpm, I don't understand what's the problem. I see many videos for which the rpm goes very smoothly. but for my bike it doesn't. am I the only one facing this issue..i had gone to the service center but they say this is normal.. can you please guide. ....i really find it struggling at 1st gear/2nd gear/3rd gear to go beyond 3000 rpm.?
@@SrinivasGanesh the scenerio is that at 3000 rpm it goes very smoothly. After 3000 rpm I feel so much of pressure that is not proportional to the speed gain. I mean I see the videos on youtube people go so smoothly towards 7000 rpm even on gear 1, I was wondering is there something wrong with my bike .. just 2 months old ... at 1st gear I can't really go beyond speed 30 normally. .

Hey! Thank you for watching the video. It is an air and oil cooled motorcycle, with usage it will heat up. It is like saying, the fridge is heating up on the outside. You are advised to wear jeans and shoes and then ride, if you wear shorts and chappal for long distance ofcourse you will face the heat. AND It is highly dangerous to ride in shorts and chappals, why would you risk yourself like that in the first place? It is a punishable offence in New Delhi to ride a motorcycle in chappals. It is too damn risky buddy.
Is it just me or could that USB charging thingy me mounted the other way around with the sockets pointing downwards, just for an extended trip of unforseen unavoidable conditions. It'd be a hassle in everday life but it'll save it from water or dust ingress and also if you're using just one of the two, tape the second one shut! Idk, just my two cents!
Thanks Ben, I did try that, but the water seeps in both ways. And it served it's short purpose, right now I'm finding a replacement of sorts. One that I can fit into the holder. The aluminium holder, is a good design, it takes away the clutter from the handlebars and keeps everything neat and tidy.

@@cooolben5 I did check it, and it mounts the same way as the OEM windscreen. Because I have changed the headlight brackets, those won't work for me, so dart piranha is the best choice for me :) The mounting system is just very inconspicuous. ;)

the perelli tyres used on interceptor stock is not the real original pirelli is what i have heard, is it true?
Could be, because the stock Pirellis makes the bike wobble after 8,000 kms. that is what I heard.
