- One day on a drive home from school, Gowi sat at the back of his mother's car, holding an abandoned baby. Gowi's mum, a social worker, was taking the child to Mama Ngina Children's Home. This was a defining moment for Gowi as he connected and bonded with the baby. In many ways, it stirred in him the desire to adopt a child of his own. Pastor Gowi , I'm adopted, you officiated our wedding and prayed over our premature baby ( all 900 grams of him.) And now you have blessed two more humans. You are a blessing to me as well. May all your life be filled with love, joy and prosperity. May God bless your babies forever.

Amen. I am inspired. Mine is 15 months (minus 3 months medically speaking). He is doing well thus far and I am so grateful.

I know pst. Gowi, so I wanted to listen to what he had to say on Engage. When I clicked on this I didn't know what he was going to talk about, but God has His ways: I have been thinking about adopting, for YEARS, (before marriage and after, with one baby of our own) and lately EVERYDAY. Thank you for sharing your journey with me. I now know that it is God who has placed this desire in my heart and that the time will come when everything will fall into place so this child he has for us will come home. God bless you!
