Old movies are the best time machine ever. This was recorded shortly before my mother was born.
The film quality is brilliant
I really love these old movies
I love them also @neilangus4401 Thanks for watching.
Wonderful movie - thank you!
🏍🚓🚔⚰🪦👮♂Thank you Broken Trout . Good old movie .❤👍🎥🎞🎬 Nice to see Monte Blue not in a western movie .🤠🐴🐄Happy weekend 👍
thank you for posting. the shorter boy looks kinda like mickey rooney. per imdb it is mickey rooney.
Known at the time as "Mickey McGuire".
I love pre-code movies, and it was Barbara Stanwyck in Night Nurse and Baby Face that cinched that!
Stanwyck wonderful role/performance. No nonsense nurse.
It’s amazing, even these old b movies that they spitted out in the hundreds were real quality films. More detail and realistic in the little things then you could imagine.
Oh wow. Thanks for your time to upload this classic content. It's much appreciated. Greetings from the west of Europe.
Yes! More power to the trout. ;)
Lila Lee was so beautiful and talented. Always a joy to see her ❤❤❤
Nice selection, Trout. I enjoyed the zingers mixed in the drama.
The opening 15 minutes are so truly heart-warming. This is how America and our police used to be. Not so any longer to our shame.
A genuinely nice watch ...
That was actually pretty good for a 1932 film, most of the early talkies were still trying to figure out how to make it work.
An enjoyable old movie. Thanks for posting this.
Id like to have one of those vintage 1931 police specials. Probably worth some $$ Id restore it to original. A depression era hollywood motion picture. When a quarter got you a movie and a meal. So my farher told me. He was a delivery boy on one of these big hogs until an automobile pulled out in front of him. He survived and quit that afternoon never to ride a bike again. He grew up in HOLLYWOOD CA when his mom worked at COLUMBIA. YES that columbia
I wish hospitals really looked like that today: high ceilings, steam radiators, wainscotting, chair rails, cast iron beds and.checkerboard tiled floors.
I agree. Also I like the old nurses uniforms. I don't know why, something comforting about them.
any more like this one ? this is neat!
The scene with Sandy in the Hospital was a real tear jerker!
Great film.
Charming.
Interesting to see Los Angeles before it became L.A..
I shared it with my brother a retired police detective lieutenant.
I wasn’t going to watch this.......surprisingly good little movie! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
At 1:02, the gas station sign has regular at 13.9 cents and premium at 17.9 cents. There was no unleaded then. Prohibition was still in play at this time, too.
"Buddy Malone", AKA Mickey Rooney.
Nice dialogue, decent characterization, no over-acting and I like the dialogue between her father and the police chief and some of the beginning humor was clever however the story got a bit convoluted during the set-up. Not a harsh criticism but it got difficult to tell the characters apart and what really was going on when they were raiding the gambling hall. To sum it up I enjoyed the movie, it stayed fresh and had a touch of experimentation.
Good Old Movie I like the Black and White Movies 😊
Wow ties /jacket at dinner table!!!
henderson super x ?
@14:18 Off camera we hear an alien spaceship landing.
Young Mickey Rooney
I haven't seen a movie that was made after 2005, lol. The garbage they pump out now is just that. EDIT: I did watch an Eastwood flick the other day where he was a drug mule, I forget when it was made but it's newer. But c'mon, it's Eastwood.
I’m with you Gene! This is all I’ve been watching for the last 10 years I would like to see that Eastwood movie though
@@michaelkline884 Yeah, I'd say it's classic Eastwood and probably his swan song. Hell of a note to go out on though.
1932 version of chips!!
Oh stop with the schmoltz at the end . .
Mickey Rooney!

Actually, this film would be better forgotten. Terrible acting, and the motorcycle accident was ridiculous. Monte Blue was at his finest later in westerns.
Wow! Kinda harsh aren’t you?
