Your take on the clippers problems made me laugh, cause it sounded like a nice way of saying "the biggest problems with the clippers since acquiring PG and Kawai, was everyone except PG and kawai"
Here is the problem with all of the Lakers love: 1) The Lakers sent out 6 players with a combined PER of 79.1 to get 6 players with a combined PER of 79.6. This is not a slam dunk upgrade. 2) Looking at players with an above average PER, the Lakers traded Westbrook and Bryant for D’Angelo, Bamba and Vanderbilt. Again, this is not a clear win. For all the warts of Westbrook, he could rebound and pass at an amazing clip. D’Angelo is a much better shooter but his is not nearly as good of a passer. For a team that needs him to distribute, this will be a problem. Thomas Bryant was having a career year. Yes, his D was bad but he still has better metrics than both of his replacements. Again, this is a push. Bamba lining up 3s sounds good, but will he cut, will he move? It’s a risk that was totally discounted. 3) Minutes, the Lakers sent out players who played, on average, 110 minutes per game. In return, they got back players who had been playing 134 minutes per game. That 24 minutes means that one of those incoming players will be glued to the bench providing 0 value. My guess is that Beas and Rui will bear the brunt of the minutes crunch. 4) The Lakers also gave away a first round pick. So, no, the Lakers statistically did not improve. They will need this new team to gel. They will need D’Angelo to pass more, Bamba to shoot more 3s. Vanderbilt to stay out of the way when AD and LeBron go inside. Rui to actually improve from his Wizards days (so far he’s worse).
Thank you, lakers moves were nasty. For all the hate Westbrook got, I think they were better off with him than with this little trade haul. But we’ll see
Win for the Nets, they've got rid of 2 out of the 3 drama queens. They can banish the last one to the bench until his contract runs out and get a star in for when the young player hit their prime
That's not the case. The Westbrook trade specifically was blamed on him because the reporting was that Lakers already had a trade for buddy hield and someone else until AD and Bron stepped in to demand they got Westbrook instead. Then, after that failed, Jeannie stepped in and took control back from the players. Allowing the executives to actually do their jobs unimpeded
Dallas has as good of a shot to come out of the west as anybody. Even though they lost some defense I think the way Green has stepped up will help big time and they get Maxi back which will be huge. Dallas will finish somewhere between 3 and 5 imo and I feel like have a great chance of making back to the WCF and who knows what can happen from there.

I disagree with Memphis being losers. For one, although they didn’t make any crazy trades, they added to their bench depth in luke kennard in exchange for Danny green who only played 2 games I believe as well as 3 2nd round picks. One of the issues with Memphis is that they are meh in shooting overall as a team. Now you add Luke kennard who is possibly a top 10 shooter in the league. Luke also hasn’t had a lot of opportunities like last year bc of the return of pg and kawhi back in the rotation. And now you add him in a team with another top 10 shooter in Desmond bane and ja Morant who has a lot of gravitational pull attacking the rim. Also Steven adams screening off ball for Luke will help him out, as I believe Steven might be the greatest screener ever. Fun fact, the 2 top 3pt% leaders last season were Luke kennard and Desmond bane, and now they’re on the same team. While they aren’t the biggest winner, I believe this helps push them to be even better in a immensely tough conference. Edit: unless Luke has locker room issues with the team, the team chemistry really stays the same unlike other teams in the west like the suns, clippers, and the lakers.

Dallas is going to flip Kyrie Irving for PG13 or someone like that with a sign and trade. They're going to make a move to improve the defense if they want to seriously go for a chip.
Full of defenders yet no direction and there's no true catalyst. Cam is a young bucket with Dinwiddle but they ain't willing the Nets past nobody. They're fortunate to be in the east but they're still a 1st Rd exit.
Dont Know But i do believe the mavs Made a Bad Trade. Yeah the Team is better now but theyre Not Close to be a finals Team - just cus of Defense. And imagine Kyrie is gone in Summer…. How much you just gave up for him
nobody finds it suspicious how these teams got a lot worse in order to make the lakers a lot better?? can't stand LBJ can never play with his team always needs to stack the deck. if he wins a chip this year non of these new players will get any credit only him smh
So the Nets were caught in a rough spot because they did not sign Kyrie then KD wanted out. I think the Nets should not have given him the tree that he wanted and force them to honor his contract. Nets now have a young core who are going to jel and make it to the Eastern conference finals
How about Miami trading just Dwayne Dedmon for cash consideration. Man I really wanted Kyle lowery and Duncan Robinson gone but man we just gonna have to waste another year of jimmys talent🙄
Yeah the standings mean nothing now. I think the Lakers and the Suns have the best starting 5 now but Nuggets will still have to be up there too due to chemistry. Then I'd put Warriors at 4th and Mavs at 5th. Just who I think have the best starting 5 or at least on paper currently for this year. Problem for the Lakers is what version of AD are we getting? He has been absolutely lame the past 2 games. If he plays like trash the team not going anywhere.

I know LOW is salty over Kyrie but the actual Lakers trade felt better to me. The Lakers don't need more star power, they need good role players.
They need more than that ad need to be healthy and mmostly likely someone that guard the elite foward and guard in playoff
Agreed
IDC about KD. All that matters is that Dinwide is back home
Clippers lost reggie, many times i watch him alone bring that team back into the game. Wonder how they will compensate for that.
But him and Wall are too inconsistent.
The celtics absolutely missed the opportunity on getting a big body big man like LOW.
Bro the lakers trade doesn’t feel real. Out of all the script jokes the only one feelin real is that trade. Feels like the jazz could’ve asked for way more and something seems fishy.
Dallas is going to flip Kyrie Irving for PG13 or someone like that with a sign and trade. They're going to make a move to improve the defense if they want to seriously go for a chip.
Great information and content!
Lakers are still 13th seed even after all that
@Michael Orme los is delusional on this one think dlo and mo is gone turn this team to a champ team.
Haven’t finished the video but ima be honest Brooklyn might have a good team at the end of this.
Full of defenders yet no direction and there's no true catalyst. Cam is a young bucket with Dinwiddle but they ain't willing the Nets past nobody.
They're fortunate to be in the east but they're still a 1st Rd exit.
If you go from a contender to a play-in team in less than a season, then you LOST. The nets are sorry smh
@@crank60 I didn’t say they was winners or losers. I said they might have a good team after this.
i wanted to see brooklyn make a trade for dame and maybe get a ben simmons out of it and give up some pieces
Kyrie playing D this year...
Kyrie isn't carrying the Mavs on D. Especially when he has to carry some of the offensive load for Luka.
Russ wasn’t the problem
Dont Know But i do believe the mavs Made a Bad Trade. Yeah the Team is better now but theyre Not Close to be a finals Team - just cus of Defense.
And imagine Kyrie is gone in Summer…. How much you just gave up for him
nobody finds it suspicious how these teams got a lot worse in order to make the lakers a lot better?? can't stand LBJ can never play with his team always needs to stack the deck. if he wins a chip this year non of these new players will get any credit only him smh
My nets 😭
Highland was a gift... I don't understand helping your competitors like that???
4:38 sus
10:17 you ain’t even have to shit on my city like dat brooo at least we still have ant man right?😅
So the Nets were caught in a rough spot because they did not sign Kyrie then KD wanted out.
Who are the Lakers' starting 5 now?
@@tzeege Its a projected starting 5. Just type Lakers Projected Starting 5 in UA-cam search or Google or anything relating to their trades at the deadline and you'll see. Russell, Hachimura & Beasley/ Schroeder I think are the starters along with LeBron and AD. And keep in mind LeBron and AD are the only teammates that are both top 10 players at the same time this season. Then they have Walker and Reaves that were playing well before their injuries in 2022. On offense and defense this LA team right now is well rounded.
Yeah they got better but nuggets are still best in the west!
Does anyone here watch andy hoops too? My boy posted at night too lol
Am I trippin or did he forget Josh Hart to the Knicks?
Very underrated pick up
LOW FORGIT MIAMI HEAT
