Especially when you take into perspective in his role elevating posterizing dunks and not to mention in his prime was a decent shooter. The only downside for Vince was his lack of postseason success. LOW man, I feel that if you’re gonna include Chris Bosh in this top 75 here, you’ve been very consistent in making sure that the all-time “Big 3’s” of the NBA, but one that isn’t getting nearly their just due is completing the big 3 Spurs trio in Tim Duncan(already in) Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili. They were so good for so long together, winningest trio in NBA history I’m pretty sure, they won 4 championships together, each having their fair share of all-star appearances, all-nba selections in a system that emphasized selflessness and winning above all. I completely agree with completing the golden state trio, they are all top 75 players of all time, not even a debate. I have a problem including Bosh in there before either Tony Parker or Manu though personally, put them ahead of Dame, PG, Melo, as well. They won too much for too long together. Oh and yeah Dumars got snubbed too for sure.

    Kevin Johnson is grossly underrated and should be in the top 75. The year Suns decided to start him as PG, he turned the Suns franchise around to a 55+ win team and kept it that way through most of his career. And this started well before Barkley joined the team. His numbers are almost identical to Chris Paul. And how many 6'1 PG has a career 49.3% fg percentage? How many 6'1 PG has ever posterized someone like Hakeem, who happens to be the greatest shot blocker in NBA history.

    Taking draymond over klay on a team is the wildest take I’ve heard from you ever. Mans can score 37 in a quarter but draymond can make it for defensive versatility and playmaking/passing. I think your emphasizing defense wayy too much when it comes to including draymond. Is defense important? Absolutely but let’s not get carried away with one point even though he has clear flaws on the offensive end. He sets picks, sometimes shoots, and passes the ball. The first “position less” player was Magic Johnson he was the innovator of that, not draymond. The only argument to consider is how he innovated passing as a big man which is a fair point to make but to me doesn’t cut it, this is probably biased but one could argue that a guy like Boris Diaw deserves some credit as a passing big man on inconsistent minutes. Again that whole last point could be biased because I watched him play for most of his career but things just don’t add up to why draymond should be in the top 75 for me.

    • @TheIcemanthomas
      @TheIcemanthomas 3 роки тому +2

      He didn’t innovate passing as a bigman. Many big before him were elite passers. Specifically bill Walton, Chris Webber, KG, Tim

      How much impact can you have when you average a triple single for your career? He gets props for D? Anybody who has watched the game longer than 15 years knows that defense is nonexistent. All major American sports have gotten rid of rules or created new ones to boost Offense, and make it impossible to play Defense. People who would put Dre, Dwight, Bosh, Dame, or PG, and not have Pistol Pete, Tiny Arch, Dantley, Dumars, Moncrief show they have no knowledge of the History of the NBA and the Players. I’m genuinely confused on how people are saying Dame shouldn’t make the list but are putting Klay. They played in the league and dame has been consistently better their entire careers. If the criteria is longevity of they’re primes, klay also wouldn’t make it because he has five elite years before his injuries. You could argue he played a role on an all time team but then we have to start including players like ginobli over other all time greats just off of championship pedigree rather than what they brought to the league.

    • @shoryuking2213
      @shoryuking2213 3 роки тому +2

      @NKC That’s fair but at the same time, it’s clear that Dame is more talented than players like Draymond and Klay. I’d get it if Dame wasn’t contributing to winning but he has yet to miss the playoffs in his prime despite playing with somewhat subpar rosters. I’m not even a Dame fan but we’re taking about a 25 ppg scorer over 6 seasons and counting. Like how much are we valuing being a third/fourth option on a championship team vs being a MVP caliber player on a consistent playoff team?
