    Super helpful content even for those are not competing and coaching themselves,
    Some golden nuggets below:
    - Looking every 2-3 weeks before adjustments
    - Use the waist measurement as a second factor to measure in addition to scale
    - Look at adherence
    - Look at pictures/video data
    - 200 calorie deficit when stalled as a starting point (restriction or increase expenditure)
    - Gaining at a controlled rate is harder than cutting (This has been my experience as a recreational lifter)
    - Performance is not a great proxy for muscle maintenance during a cut

    Needed this podcast. Im currently 7 weeks out from my next show and been so focused on the scale. My weight has been fluctuating so much but my physique does physically change. My mind plays tricks on me, but this podcasts helps validate i'm on the right path.
