this video should be pulled off the internet, anyone who has plastic lenses eyeglasses know that what she did there in the 1,3 minute was destroying her glasses!
Just used normal Pledge and it work a treat after only a minute of rubbing it in and then buffing it out,id tried rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover before this and they were useless, who would of thought Pledge would of worked, certainly not me and i was well pleased with the results,so a huge thank you from me. Much love and respect from the UK. ✊🏾💪🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hi Rachel You did not show the scratches before cleaning following scratch free plastic lenses. It would be a good idea to show before and after effects don’t you think 🤔. I won’t risk my glasses 👓 just coz you say it might work. Thank you
if you must use a polishing compound for buffing that's extremely fine grit. I'm talking 1200 grit buffing compound for cars use in small amounts with a microfiber that's broken in or a piece of old t shirt something soft for sure
The cheapness of the new lenses, even from lensecrafters is a joke! After only 2 years they have permanent smudges and clouds, they wont clean off, rub off, nothing! Gives me headaches
Yes, I HATE these new plastic lenses! They're a pain in the ass to clean. I could use wipes on my old pair of glasses that had actual glass lenses and they would be clean with no hassle. Wipes don't work on plastic lenses. Just smears. I have to wash with soap and water and when I'm drying them off with a paper towel it smears again! They seem to get dirtier faster too.
This is repairing not cleaning. Buffing may have worked when this was posted, but not anymore. The problem is almost all reading glasses have a coating to block blue light. It's quite thin and takes little effort to buff through it. Also, the paper towel she used at the end is a terrible idea as it's made from wood pulp and will leave micro scratches in the lenses.
I typically never comment on any video, but DO NOT do this... The likely reason she has scratches in the first place is because she's using cotton and/or paper towels to clean n dry her glasses... This is so wrong I'm convinced this is a spoof. To clean, have two microfiber lens clothes. Use one to dampen, then add a little bit of mild dish soap (like Dawn liquid) and gently... very gently clean lenses under running water, rinse and gently dry w microfiber cloth.

When the wax fills the scratches doesn't that affect your vision? I mean now you've altered the lenses.
thought the same
"Glass cleaner?" Paper towels to dry them? PLASTIC lenses??? This whole thing seems like a way to promote something or someone else.
Yes, the international house-hold products agenda.

I wouldn't mine watching you 3 to 4 minutes buffing and buffing and buffing... Specially from that angle..:) Let the twins loose though...
Do not do anything you saw in this video. Just plain crazy wrong.
