You guys should have it set up where every five levels you have to duel. So you hit Level 5 doing PVE then you have to do at least one duel before you continue leveling up, every 5 levels until cap
10 lvls is what everyone was recommending. Keeps you from having to wait as long for someone to be same lvl
Yeah, 1 level is a massive difference at certain points. A 55 vs a 54, maybe not so much, but at level 6-7, you're still very much acquiring new spells and shit to flesh out your rotation, AND a single quest that's available at 7 might give a far superior weapon than you could acquire at level 6, which is often the case. Aqua was doomed the instant he accepted the terms of the duel.
Not to mention big talents can come at very specific levels, as well as some classes really benefitting from other talents once they get to max.

My condolences, dude, I had no idea you hated yourself so much. I managed to break free after the letdown of Cataclysm and never looked back. Turns out, you can save a lot of money gaming by not paying subscriptions and instead just... "Acquire" games. It only costs me about 50 bucks a year.
