That Hunter went from Cheetah (dazed) to Hawk (melee)... There's a reason you get Aspect of the Monkey before level 5... It's a crucial skill. People underestimate that dodge chance
90% of hunter deaths, they dont even have it on their bar. it kills me. plus when you're running from things, swapping aspects, Monkey is so much cheaper than hawk AND more useful.
I mean that hunter could have done a lot of things better: - Anti-venom exists in classic - Heart of Noxxion is very useful here and solo-farmable. - Dismiss Pet + Feign Macro may have also helped - Did he just not keep any potions? I don't see any on his bars. - Woulda been a good idea to keep levelling engi. - Guzu is right, he should have been melee weaving ONE of the two mobs (so that the pet could easily rip the other off) - A single tick of bandage would have saved him as well - Generally, when I get a debuff - I double check it. Especially if it stacks. It's pretty easy to tell "This is something I can ignore" or "I should probably get the fuck out while I can"
Theres a trick with feint death most don't realise exists. It can only be resisted in line of sight. Meaning if you are not able to be hit with a spell it can't resist you. In DME if i feinted while LOS of the imps sometimes get resists, once i realised running around the corner fixed that it became obvious :D
A lot of people talking about Joana should've dismissed pet to fd. This is NOT needed, all you have to do is put petpassive then fd, ideally you put it in a macro. Then you are happily ooc and can mount off or eat.
U don’t even have to dismiss just use the basic FD macro that’s been around for ages and put the mf pet on passive then fd. The pet attacking after you fd keeps you in combat. Classic hardcore players are brain dead
Hunter at 7:48 died with runecloth bandages on his bars all he had to do was wait for a tick of dmg would of got most his hp back holy painful to watch
For duels they should make it so that you can’t cast any spells eat stealth etc outside of the range limits. I would also argue that it should pause your cds timers.
I think I’m done running dungeons with random groups. I lost my 25 warrior last night in SFK because one of the mages pulled another mob. Everyone made it out but me. Before that, I lost my 24 mage to the same dungeon cause the tank over pulled. It’s like a DC death, no lessons to take from it, just someone else ruining your run

There should be a 20 sec exit duel area timer. And the person chasing should not get a timer until the 1st person gets back in duel range. For example ziqo's should have a 20 sec timer starting at 0:49 ticking down to but the pally doesnt. Then at 0:53 when ziqo is back in dueling range the 20 sec timer for the pally should start.

That hunter was getting attacked and poisoned by 2 giant bugs. Those bugs are most likely Beasts. The fact that they never used Freezing Trap or Scare Beasts and kept up Aspect of the Cheetah when getting melee'd then swapped to the ranged attack power Aspect while in melee makes me baffled as to how he made it to 59 in the first place
Those wasps aren't beasts. He wasn't in any danger of being killed by the wasps melee damage and you can see he escaped the instant he wanted to. This isn't a bad player at all, he just didn't realize the poison ticks could deal so much damage until it was too late. It did over half his max HP in poison damage, that's absolutely crazy damage from a mob DoT
How does Joanna not know as a hunter main of 20 years that you can put pet on passive then feign to drop combat - he left pet on defensive so he didn't go out of combat. How is this not common knowledge?
