- This awesome wooden coaster is packed with pops of airtime and thrills! Built by GCI (Great Coasters International), Heidi The Ride is similar to White Lightning at Fun Spot America in Orlando. Make sure you watch until after the brake run to see the little video show.
Heidi The Ride is 2,027 feet (618m) long, is 72 feet (22m) high and reaches a top speed of 44 mph (71km/h). It opened in April 2017. Heidi is a character from Studio 100's portfolio.
Plopsaland De Panne is located near Adinkerke, Belgium.

This is such a fun ride!! The drop is wayy more scarier than it looks haha
i live realy close to this theme park and i've going to it for years. i know the park in and out. this has recently been added and i just love it! it's my new favourite!

hey there everyone i just wanna clear something out that being heide the ride is NOT a mistic timbers clone you can see this by comparing a top down view of the heidi ride to mistic timbers the heidi ride has the same drop and some aspects of mistic timbers but mistic timbers is a completly different ride its thx to these very few aspects the rides look exzactly the same also the shape of these two coasters makes people often think there the same
A few days ago i waited so long for this and it was worth it

Studio 100 (the owners of this park) made a tv show based on the story. So did Studio Ghibli in 1974 and the new version is suspiciously similar in artstyle. sssoooooowwwwwwwww...................

yeah they should've used the ORIGINAL VERSION of heidi. Not the 3d ripoff this ride is themed to.

They should have showed the 1974 anime Heidi on the screen not the crap cgi remake I am from the uk and watched it with English subs the original is best

Oh, you are right. Had to look this up and Heidi opened 13 days before Mystic Timbers.
This ride actually would have opened a year earlier, but their permit expired so they had none for a while and the locals were complaining, so they decided to not open it in fear of the park being shut down by the authorities

Nearly died on that ride. My sister convinced me to do it, couldn’t handle it. Midway through I started screaming that I was going to kill her and then when I got out I couldn’t breathe 😂
