Wow thank you nisarga, what a rich expression of life, thoughts, feelings etc. Many people will experience these same expressions. I have thoughts like these and when I do nothing about them, don't engage with them, I see that they were just the energy of life flowering in that way and then evaporating, if I let them be and don't feed them, I become aware of a perspective that was previously obscured, that of what is at the basis, that which knows, the energy of the universe that powers all
The comments sound banal because they're simple. "Be here now" sounds pretty banal, too. But the essence of the person speaking the message is the thing to tune in to. Her whole point is that the conceptual self and the seeker's ideal takes us from the immediate, where the truth is.
Because your ego is defending it's rule over your soul. It is sending you miss-perceptions and it can even make you hear and see things that are not there. Sorry that is the truth.
Such banal comments. Teachers of different levels are just different steps. The guru of today is not the one of tomorrow. Even that evolves. I used to like Osho and Da Free John until I realized they were idiots. But I still learned Something from them at the time that I can carry forward. The only mistake would have been to stay stuck with them when I was in motion, as all things are. There's certainly no sense in arguing about them. The worst teacher is still better than the best banker ;')
That's a good question. It's also great that you have already felt that this happens inside you and you don't project the feeling on her. Now I may humbly suggest to look at your feeling or question until you find an answer or it passes. Then look again :)
