    Thank you. I don’t understand it really, but I’m inclined to the belief that he is on the right track. I think consciousness is probably one thing that cannot be divided or limited- I’m not sure if he is saying that the quantum fields are separate fields of awareness, or if they are all one. I’d vote for all one. But I’m going to guess that even quantum fields are phenomena that appear in consciousness and do not have stand-alone reality.

      The answer to this kind of question is to use the metaphor of the dream. In a dream, you may experience water. Is that water conscious? Yes, insofar as it is really a product of your mind, which is producing the dream. Likewise, in the philosophy of consciousness as the one underlying reality, the water is a product of the one mind of existence. In this sense, water is conscious in this framework.
