Thanks for the review. I want to try this film. It looks like color wise it is somewhere in between Kodak gold and Fuji c200. Not as warm as Kodak but warmer than Fuji. Interested to see how the NC400 looks. Keep up the good work 👍
😃 I can't wait to shoot mine, I've got 4 Rolls coming from a independent store and 6 rolls that may or may not appear one day from ORWO hahaha, time will tell. At least if people get angry next time less people will buy and we will get orders faster 😆
@@AnaloguePT 😅🤣 Indeed. I gave up on waiting and purchased 4 rolls from a store like you their in the mail now. My assumption is that our pre orders are likely lumped in with the large orders stores made, and their fulfilling them in numeric order.
I have one word for this film. HORRIBLE. Prior to shooting ORWO NC500, my least favorite new film was Cinestill 400D. NC500 has helped me realize that Cinestill 400D is a far better film. With NC500, the grain is like mud in blue skies. Some colors were so far away from reality that there wasn't even a hint of what the true color was. Brown was the new purple according to Orwo NC500. This was far more Out of Africa and definitely not The Color Purple. There was also evidence of a light leak in a camera that has never had a light leak....so I'll assume the light leak came with the film. My photos, overall, have the look of very expired film poorly stored. Cinematic? Hardly. Would I shoot it again. Not a chance.
Nice to see that a new C-41 film is being made
Thank you for the video. Cheers from Poland

Looking forward to your NC400 review :)
great..enjoy yr shoot. i shot in cloudy weather for this roll. wondering if it is shot in brighter weather will it be better.
@@AnaloguePT I see. It will be interesting, I want to see what it takes to replicate the colors etc in ORWO's sample images :)
wah, I still haven't receive mine
seem like they have a unique way of handling preorders

It’s nice that new emulsions are being made but I can’t see myself using this one, ever. The pictures are WAY too grainy!
I hv another roll of NC400. I will see if it is as grainy as this.
