only done 3 or 4 hundred water heaters never used any thing like this but . trust me Ive paid a price, just remembered my back injury 100 gallon heaters but looking for better methods and dont want to bring another hand. I love doing heaters havent done many in years but getting back in and I am a bit older
How would you use that where the WH is on a stand in a closet where the top of the water heater is taller than the closet door top? The water heater has to go in top first leaning into the closet, then up and swing the bottom into the pan. It always takes 2 people. Can your device do that? I'm probably going to buy one anyway, but I don't see anyway around this problem.
Hey Paul. The Hot Rod Hand Truck doesn't help much in this situation. Think about using a winch system anchored inside the closet. We built ours from off-the-shelf parts at a local box store. And the lifting strap that comes with a HotRod is crucial to our system. Call us, we can explain. hotrodhandtruck.com
