Durdle Door/ England’s must visit place/ മലയാളം ബ്ലോഗ് /Dorset/

Durdle Door is probably the most famous stone arch anywhere in the world. It was created when the sea pierced through the Portland limestone around 10,000 years ago.
It is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and is an extremely popular beauty spot. It is located on the Lulworth Estate in south Dorset and is part of the Jurassic Coast.
This stunning location has been used for many Bollywood movies & music videos . Most recently Akshay Kumar starer Bollywood movie Houseful 3 was shot here.
Great place for a holiday. Plan to visit early in the day to enjoy the serenity of the beach. Good facilities for toilets and parking. The water is clean. Amazing view from the car park. The tiring walkway from the parking to the beach could be made better by stairs and footpaths and having railings on the steep edges and also on steps is required as safety measures.
