that was a very fun video it was a pleasure to watch ...l'm a fan of Iceland Air. I like the access it gives from my part of N America to Europe bzn-msp-kef-ams....i like breaking the flight into 2 shorter segments and occasionally taking advantage of a stopover and kef is a nice airport the saga lounge is very stylish and the customs entry into the schengen zone is way smoother than at a major airport...and the price point can be in their favor often...

Man good old Icelandair. I haven't flown on them personally but I remember them being the craze. Especially here in Copenhagen where I live. In the days before the 787 every time someone said they were going or had been going to America they always said they took Icelandair. Perhaps the price was what overall sold all those tickets back then. Maybe it was the experience on their aircraft. I even heard some people saying they liked having a stretch in Iceland as like a halfway break on the journey. What a time.

Having not seen my family in just over 3 yrs due to cost and distance,that family reunion made me cry as well! I'm amazed that being Swedish,you nor your parents have any detectable Scandinavian accent.'About your apartment,somebody likes books--LOTS of books! What is the flight time between Stockholm and Gothenburg? Who was holding the camera when you entered your parent's house?

I think being up front on the lower cost carriers is a good bargain for those seeking comfort . Legroom and amenities for a couple thousand less than business class on a mainline carrier. Think Norweigian also. BTW I got a bit choked up watching you surprise your family.

Iceland Air is my preferred way to cross the Atlantic when I can make the schedule work! The lack of daily service to some destinations does make it a bit of a challenge, but by far the best way to cross “the pond”!

Nice video! I would be curious if Icelandair offers in its business class local delicacies. Swiss usually serves cheese, even those with strong scent. Could one find the hakarl or the brennivin on the Icelandair business class menu?

Do you know (or someone else) how they transport the food for business class? Do they make it before the flight and just put some plastic over the board or do they put everything in a box (or something like that) and put it on the board while inflight?

I discovered Icelandair by accident when searching for US-UK flights from BWI. I'd quite like to fly with them, probably taking advantage of their stopover visits to Iceland ar Reykjavik. For some reason I've always had a desire to visit. Now that I've done Hong Kong, maybe it's Iceland's turn ?

Great Video Once Again Just flew from LGW-DXB-MAA On the Emirates A380 & 777-300ER It was so nice and a surprise for me was that we got EK’s 100th Sheik Zayed Special Livery A380 From LGW-DXB On EK16, it was perfect especially in Business class, might go again in Feb! Great Video Have experienced Iceland air from LGW I thought they was niche and nice but I prefer EK in all classes!

Pretty sure SAS and Norwegian fly to Svalbard , which makes them the Northernmost Airline and not Icelandair
