Exactly, it jarring. So much dialogue added or changed with adr and bad green screen. And for what? So that batman can talk about polar ice caps melting? He sees the motherboxes on a wall in a remote fishing village, what's wrong with WW telling him about those? I get cutting out most of the (beautiful) shots of bruce traveling or the villagers singing because you need to make the movie shorter- but the more I look back at the theatrical abomination I see that there was so much that was changed for no storytelling reason at all, it was just movie making politics.

It's a minor redesign, in BvS it was Jason's natural eye color then they changed it to blue in JL, then it was changed to gold in Aquaman.
Cause he hasn't been underwater in awhile. They adjusted to the earth rather than sea

1. Salt harms our eyes
2. water have different density so if curve light beams differently
We can see underwater with diving masks , but not as good as we could.
The fact that Batman did not immediately respond in the language Aquaman was speaking when they were making fun of him explains Batman this entire movie lol.
To me it looked like he was playing dumb to let aquaman think he had like the upper hand. You can tell that Bruce knew who aquaman was, everything he was saying seemed deliberate to get aquaman to reveal who he is on his own instead of just calling him out.

I never said anything about the Snyder Cut. If gave up on it after awhile and learned to tolerate this film. I’m just saying that’s why the cgi is so inconsistent, the reshoots costed 100 million the Snyder photography costed 200 million.
I saw this in the cinema in Iceland with Icelandic subtitles. When the Icelandic actor spoke there were no subtitles but they had to put subtitles when Aquaman speaks icelandic because it was nearly impossible to understand. The whole room burst out laughing.

@@amielterence Not really, in the movie they say that this village is isolated several months of the year due to ice. There are no villages in Iceland that are that desperately isolated, when roads are closed you can usually still get to places via a boat or an airplane.
I talk about this particular village on my other channel 'Iceland in Real Life' as a travel destination recommendation.

I think that one of the problems with this movie is that they had too much focus on Superman. Even when he wasn't on screen they keep talking about him. The name of the movie is Justice League but the main factor is only one character.

Thank you! First, Aquaman tells a joke to the people, makes them laugh to introduce the other Batman! What were they thinking? The transition was horrible but the Atlantis line needed to be in the Snyder cut.

@Giovanni Balbosa-Mc Intosh actually it was there for the nostalgic side, the MCU kicked off with I am iron man and I guess they wanted it to end the phase that way with tony stark dead and all, they also wanted to show the viewers that thanos is the man who BEAT the avengers (and help) with a short nostalgic sentence going back to the beginning of the MCU. (JUST MY OPINION)

I knew Jason Momoa as Ronan from Stargate Atlantis, good to know that his career is still going strong. Funny how he is involved with two very different iterations of the Lost City. One, a Space Fairing civilizations last standing city. The other, a lost city here in our oceans, and commands fish.
