I always wanted to cover Unravel, but the original instrumental just didn't suit my voice at all and when I heard the acoustic version for the first time, I felt so inspired and I knew I wanted to do a cover of that version specifically because it just sounded so different from anything I've ever heard. So after thinking about it with my friend Narutimate77 here, we decided that this would be our next project! We've planned this since last year and I'm so glad we finally finished this after so many months of trial and error. So here it is, our take on the Acoustic Version of Unravel.

It is a bleak song that has some distinct warmth to it. And it is truly a good homage to the beauty that is Tokyo Ghoul

Something I wish I been told back when I was in your shoes: Just focusing on your breathing, feel the life in your body, fill your lungs up to the max, then just relax and let some of the air fall out, don't fully exhale. Repeat that 20ish times, focus on how your body feels while you do this, looks inwards. Your thoughts will stop racing and you can have freedom. Approach the present moment like a friend, don't resist what is, don't judge what is and don't attach to what is.

Jonathan young’s version is much better, this version here sounds unnatural in english, cause in some places, it doesn’t rhyme enough, and there are a few too many words in some sentences, making the song feel stressed/rushed.

I actually read excerpts of this at my father's funeral, because it helped me cope. Also the "Please think of me, the way I used to be... as who I really should be," meant a lot to me because his Parkinson's deteriorated his mind so much from who he was in the past. The "You can't forget me," is more self explanatory. So thanks for this version.
