I would like to dedicate this video to my friend, Nicholas, who always mispronounced a work colleague's name as "Redento" when it was nowhere close to that and we were pretty sure that name didn't exist. Upon the release in this game, he was vindicated because Redento turned out to be a real name. Thanks for the laughs, Nick!
imagine some lunatic getting his hand and feet bound and escaping because the prison is horrible only to start a religion around suffering like that until you die. and you wonder why this guy was considered heretical
It's not much crazier than the Convent of Our Lady of the Burned Visage! I guess the whole "escaping from prison" thing is though... Lol. Thanks for watching!
This is silly to think of, but what if the jug around the pilgrim's neck is full of water? I mean, they still need to eat and drink... Edit: New Take. It's sacred wine. The "blood" we see around his body is the spilled wine after he collapsed to the ground and his jug was shattered.
“And made three proclamations” “Someone is not who you think they are” “Something close to you will be taken away” “On July 21st you will wake up in a bigger house”
It's sad people didn't stick around after you got done with the LISA videos, this channel really does have potential. Also, I've been amazed since those videos how you seemingly manage to reply to almost every comment, massive props.
Well, being inconsistent in uploads and not making things that viewers are interested in will do that to you! Lol. But replying to comments is the best part, imo. I love hearing people's viewpoints and opinions and stuff as it can help me see things in a totally new way. Plus, I really appreciate the time people take to watch, so taking the time to make the Thank You a little more personal is worth it to me! Speaking of which: thanks for watching! :)
And now, he forever walks amongst the Old Processions on the other side of the dream. Ironic how his punishment of walking would not even end in death.
Well covering indie games isn't exactly the best way to get exposure, and I don't really do much to market myself. Lol. But I very much appreciate the love! :) Thanks for watching!
I find it cute af that, in a sea of suffering and abominable religious backgrounds, this little pilgrim has these little encounters with the Penitent One It's not all death and decay and suffering and eternal pain XD
Plenty of stories to cover! Only thing is others have already covered them, so there won't be much I'll be able to add. Lol. But this is still good fun, and there's a Free DLC coming out at some point this year (or so the developers say) that might add more! That should be fun! Thanks for watching!
I didn't make the last part public (for some reason, I can't remember why), but there's a playlist on the channel that has all the parts! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Draco, judging by all the comments you've left, I feel like you must've watched nearly every story video I've done on the channel. Lol. Appreciate you watching! Hope you've enjoyed what you've watched! As for your questions (going from oldest to newest): 1. We don't know for certain. Providence might've told Mithrix he wanted to stay, and Mithrix brushed him off. Maybe he knew that he would say no. All we know for certain is that Providence wanted to stay, and locked Mithrix on the Moon to stay. 2. Again, we don't know for certain, but for this one, I would probably just say for "gameplay reasons." Not really satisfying to not have a cool boss fight to end a game with, is it? Lol. An in universe explanation might be that he was arrogant and didn't think he'd die, but he obviously underestimated them. 3. They may have accepted it, but ultimately couldn't do anything to end Ibzan's punishment. It was one that was bestowed upon him by a higher power than the Flames, or by the rules of the Universe. We don't know exactly. Also, the Flames might have forgiven Ibzan, but after seeing him try to get back to the Mortal world, deemed him too dangerous to continue to "live" and decided to have a Reaper end him. 4. Yup, sure seems that way! 5. They probably walk, but they have to find their way through the numerous death traps everywhere! Haha. Thanks again for watching everything you have. I appreciate it and hope you've enjoyed! :)
The Miracle has revive our holy squanch praise him
Lol. Thanks, man. Will have a couple videos on Blasphemous in anticipation for the DLC (whenever that's supposed to come out)!
I would like to dedicate this video to my friend, Nicholas, who always mispronounced a work colleague's name as "Redento" when it was nowhere close to that and we were pretty sure that name didn't exist. Upon the release in this game, he was vindicated because Redento turned out to be a real name.

XD
Well, Redento actually means "redeemed", and like many names in Blasphemous, is more of an adjective in Spanish.
Still, must've been validating
See I always told you it was a real name :)

I got an ad for "The Rosary of the Month Club"
Guess the the ad bots think this is actually a catholic video
That's funny. I don't think I put in any kind of religious tags for the video either!
Thanks for watching!
You explain the lore like a cool fairy tale. Amazing work!
My man's was essentially the onion knight from DS1 but instead of just being a depressed onion this guy literally can't fight
This is silly to think of, but what if the jug around the pilgrim's neck is full of water? I mean, they still need to eat and drink...

I found out this game is based heavily on Spanish Holy Week, that makes it cooler
I read about what inspired the creators for the direction they went for designing the world and all that. It's a good read.

Great video. I didn't know roots grow from Redento's corpse in the cave. I guess he finished his task given by the miracle.
He tripped and hit his head.
oh, i thought he bashed his head to the ground
For some reason, Redento's last words "Oh, my sins!" really got to me.
I love these story summary videos i think you're pretty underrated keep it up
Thank you very much! I appreciate it! :)
Thanks for watching!
These videos are super underrated! I thought there would be more lore coverage!
Just found this channel and I'm never letting go!!

Great work. It has been a joyful degree on Blasphemology.
And now, he forever walks amongst the Old Processions on the other side of the dream. Ironic how his punishment of walking would not even end in death.
your channel is criminally unknown and it scares me

@@SquatchGamingChannel thank you for uploading such great videos!
Never thought about the Lunatics as genuflectors. sounds interesting.
Is it weird i got a catholic ad after this
Can't wait for the DLC...
Exactly what made me want to make these videos. Lol. What do you think it'll be about?

That's some pretty shiny armor to be iron my dude.
Ill genuflect for the miracle of more of ur videos
Yep
Why nicanor is heretic? And being helped by the penitent one is not agaistan the rules of travel alone?
"Redento" in italian means someone who is redeemed
