Hey Joe, that tap and die set is a great piece of history and I can't believe how complete it is. It's hard to pass up a folding rule. Take care Buddy!
Great finds! You definitely scored some interesting items! The tap and die set is really cool. Glad you found a folding ruler. All in all very nice haul. I've never heard the phrase "junk drunk" but I will remember it.😂 have a great week, there should be a surprise your way😊
Hey Mike, it was a pretty good day at the market but picking is gonna be a bit more difficult over the next few weeks with the cold weather and holiday items out. I don't know how else to explain it other than junk drunk 😅. I appreciate it Brother.
hey there George! nice haul. you brought out the tap and die set, and I'm thinking yep, I'd snag that too, and the folding rule, same, snag that too! oh, the level, yep, snag! thanks for the haul review - good eye 👍
Hey Matt! Yep all great minds think a like! 😁. Seriously i am so stoked to have found the tap and die set. It's hard to pass on those old levels and rules. They are such a joy to restore. Take care Brother and I'll catch up with ya later.
Hey Twin Brother! I still can't believe I found it and that it is so near complete! Hope all is well up there and I'll catch up with ya later. Hello to the missus!
Hi Bruce, that's exactly what I think when I find these old tools especially the Military ones. Thanks for tuning in and leaving me a nice comment, I really appreciate it.
You got some great stuff there George. The tap and Die are definitely a favorite. I think Mr. John Fix did a Restoration on a Stanley level like that one recently. It is a very cool piece, When you restore it would you consider it painted yellow. Mr. John painted his green and to me it looked good but yellow seemed more appropriate just me thanking. Have a good week buddy. If you get some time soon lets have a chat.
Hey Todd, ya sometimes it's hard to pick a favorite. But honestly the needle nose locking pliers would have been my pick the other day when it was just the tool I needed but didn't have with me. Take care and I'll catch up with ya later.
Thanks Alex! Ya Man the tap and die set was an amazing find. It's got tool and military history. I love those levels they are such a joy to restore. Have a great week maybe we can catch up this weekend.
Good morning Sir. Nice finds ,I agree the tap and die set was a nice finds. I have found tools with that funky coating on them too don’t know why seen to have been dipped in a varnish or something. Thanks again I enjoy your videos
Hey Dan, It's strange that's for sure the first time I've seen that many with a coating like that. Thanks for checking in Brother I appreciate it. Hope you are doing good and we'll catch up later.
Hi George - great haul as usual. The Tap and Die set is lovely, and the folding rule - I have a few of them, they usually clean up OK. Thanks for sharing. Take care 🙂
Hey Michael, It is always a joy to find military marked tools they aren't too common in the wild. It's hard not to bring home a folding rule when you see them, They usually come up nice and are just a joy to work on. Thanks for checking in I appreciate it. Take care Buddy!
Hey ! George vraiment de belles trouvailles, le coffret de la Navy est vraiment superbe, les clés et autres pinces aussi de quoi faire quelque restauration. ❤
Hey Big Brother , Those levels are always cool to find and they clean up so nice. You want a Mr. Jim pic? I can send ya one. 😅. Ya we had a good Thanksgiving hope yours was too.
I agree! That tap and die set is a cool find! I got lucky at an auction house a few years ago and got a WWII Army carpenters tool chest. They sold it as a blanket chest lol. I used the old blankets in it to wrap it up lol. It still has the paper in it to tell what tools are supposed to go in it. Hope you get your stove all hooked up soon(if you haven’t already). It’s a good 16* here in Kentucky tonight. Take care!
Hey Brother that's an awesome find that came your way! I'll get the stove going soon. I'm still waiting on a piece or two and honestly I just haven't had time to work on it. Take care and I'll catch up with ya later.
Hey Captain Ivan! That set is one of those finds that really stops you in your tracks. I'm honestly surprised it wasn't snapped up before I got to it. Thank you for your service and for checking in. Hope you are doing well! I'll try and catch up with ya soon.
CC!!!! I can't believe I found it and that no one snapped it up before I got to it! You don't come across stuff like that everyday. I'm going to just give it a slight clean up. Take care Brother!
Another good haul George! That level is going to look really sweet when you're done restoring it. I like that term "junk drunk", so true and it will sneak up on you. Wonder if those wrenches that have a film on them were sprayed with an anti corrosion spray. The best was definitely the US Navy tap and die set. Great video, keep your powder dry!
Mike,Mike,Mike! Those levels are always cool when they are restored, it's unbelievable that they are still around. Ya buddy I was cool one minute and the next thing I knew I was home with some tools I didn't even remember picking up. 😅. I'm not sure about that coating but It feels gross...That set is a top shelf piece for sure. I'll catch ya on the flip side Brother.
Great finds! Yes of course the Navy tap and die set is the coolest. Hopefully you can clean the case up a little so the name shows through, we could see it though. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Fred G! I'm gonna give that box a very gentle cleaning so hopefully I can get that name to Pop a little more. Glad you could see it. Take it easy Brother I'll get up with ya later.

Hey Mr. Bill! That set is a real treasure indeed so it's going to get a gentle cleaning. I want to see if i can find any other markings and get the Navy stamp to pop a little more.
Funny...UA-cam gave me a five minute commercial to watch before you started.....so sure, I let it play. Then then they only gave you 1 min and 10 seconds before they played two more commercials ( about two minutes worth ). Now for the movie
@@Uwannawatch Not a problem at all....Some commercials are fun...some , I would rather squeeze my fingers in a vise than have to watch them again. But I'm at my desk watching so I can be on the other screen while they play. So it isn't a bother at all. ....it is however very interesting to see how UA-cam works. To think, I thought it was some 23 year old kid eating Chinese food throwing darts to pick the next decisions. Turns out they may employ a bit more science in their magic. .( ...in the case of my channel they used Rock-Paper-Scissors....... My videos are scheduled to be promoted in January... ....2028 )

What sizes in the tap and die set are you missing?
I'm not sure yet, I haven't cleaned it up and I can't see the markings.
The tap and die set is n winner that counting might be beriluim or a bronzing😢 that went horibily wrong😢 tanks for😢 the vid
Thanks Ben, The tap and die set is amazing. But ya I don't know what that coating is but it ain't good.
Funny...UA-cam gave me a five minute commercial to watch before you started.....so sure, I let it play.
Then then they only gave you 1 min and 10 seconds before they played two more commercials ( about two minutes worth ).
Now for the movie
Brother I'm sorry for all the commercials you gotta sit through, It's UA-cam and Tis the season for it. Thanks for sticking around! I appreciate it!
My videos are scheduled to be promoted in January...
....2028 )
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals I got no clue how UA-cam actually works!
@@Uwannawatch ......come closer so nobody hears us...
....the reason is, UA-cam is a female.
