The rear suspension on the Power Goat is stiff for me to at 220lb as well. I think the Billy Goat V2 and the Motor Goat V3 have better rear suspension since their shock placement is better.
I just never understand why people obsess over 2-3 miles difference in mph. I see UA-cams spending 500-1000 in upgrades to get 5 miles or less in speed. Or if odometer if off 2-3 miles. Great video ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I agree totally, all these upgrades just for 2-5 mph more is laughable. I pedal my ebike 20-25 mph to get more range, buy a Honda Ruckus and 41 mph all day, 100 per gallon and then stop at the gas station and fill up in 30 seconds for three bucks. Insurance is about $300 a year. 😂 and it’s brand new for $2800.
Agreed. Our bike lanes are so littered with rocks and debris not to mention drainage grates, I wouldn’t really want to go 40 mph in these skinny little lanes. At that point a motorcycle in traffic feels like the safer option.
the difference between 35 and 40mph is a big deal when you’re sharing the road with cars. 45mph is a very common speed limit on roads in the US, hence the motivation for upgrading to that threshold in order to keep up with traffic on those roads.

I had to set wheel size to 22.8 to get a speedometer number which matched GPS (Motor Goat v3). The Motor Goat v3 also has a higher voltage pack, as it is a 17s5p, as versus a 16s5p. I suspect the battery percent is a "longer term average". Powering off and on resets the longer term average, thus showing a lower percentage.
Love watching your videos. Always looks fun riding around. That bike looks like a great bike (especially since it's still working compared to the Graffiti X). I'm hoping you get your Graffiti by December so you can help me decide what to buy. If the Graffiti x doesn't break, I will buy one, but if you are able to brick it again, I think the Power goat is a fun option, especially with a bigger battery.
Goat bikes are awesome! For accurate speed reading, just change tire size in the speedo. For the rear suspension, I changes the 550 lbs spring to a 350 lbs spring. I love what you do!
I think when you first get your bike probably need to charge it for at least 8 to 10 hours it just depends how much juice is in the battery and how long it's been sitting and I do know it's not good for a battery to sit idle
If that bike has juliet connectors and the motor has the 3 phase wires and the hall sensor, you could throw on a Sabvoton 7280 and a parallel battery connector and your good to go! 😮

I only paid $800 for what I have now, and it has good rear suspension, a really comfortable seat, and crazy torque for a cheap 48v (Amyet G60). I dont want to pay more for a downgrade just to get more speed, more range, and better brakes
I noticed the exact same things on the billy goat v2...display voltage on the updated display is crap not accurate at all..and I call BS on top speed claims..my son is 130lb and can't get but 41 mph..at your weight they claim 47-48 mph..I also noticed it falls on its face after 34-35 mph..the brakes suck..squeaks..squeals..rubbing calipers..tried every brake pad possibe..still bad brake noise and overheats easily..rear suspension is harsh...seat sucks to...thinking about returning it for something better...
Out of the box, the Motor Goat V3 and Power Goat V2 have the same exact specs. Except, the default "gas tank" style battery for the Motor Goat is 17S while the Power Goat's battery is 16S. So, a little more pep for the Motor Goat at full charge.
What would be the reasons to get this over the Aniioki Pro 8 Dual Motor? This one barely reaches higher top speed and has much lower range MPC. Additional battery is over $600 on top of the existing ~$2,499 price. Aniioki I believe gets over 50 MPC full throttle going top speed. Sure Aniioki is Chinese, but Motor Goat is pretty much a Chinese ebike with an American face upfront. So I guess people are paying for *hopefully* better aftersales support?
Aniioki is not a very good bike, history of poor customer service, poor quality ebike parts, also a Chinese company with a lot of bad reputation. This is a higher quality bike.

Plus like you said i'm seeinanother videos for this one and people say the top speed drops pretty quick which you would think what dual batteries that wouldn't get lower so quick. I know they all lose the speed.And power but Typically , a fifty two volt battery will go forty to forty three miles per hour, And towards the end will be down at thirty seven or seven or thirty eight I wouldn't expect , This one a sixty vault battery to go down to thirty seven. Especially so quick. Out of all 3 of my scooters, the one with the LG battery drains the slowest.And morose consistent makes a huge difference

These GOAT ev Bike are nice and what are the odds of two UA-camrs from Fresno metro area promoting e-bikes. We lived near Ashlan and Clovis a couple years ago!
That motor can handle way more power, it definitely has nothing to do with the motor heating up. In fact, this bike is a prime canadate for a controller swap. All bikes perform worse as the battery drains and the voltage drops. I suspect the voltage and percentage problems are from the battery blender, (blenders suck and they arent needed, a simple parallel connector is all thats needed) or the display itself just isnt functioning correctly.
i did this test in a previous video without a battery blender and with 1 single battery. voltage and percentage is still way off. this bike goes over 40mph all day until it gets hot than its around 36mph for me at 170lbs. ua-cam.com/video/6HI-bs5S3OQ/v-deo.html&t Keep in mind its 100 degrees here.

Js lol I assumed the blender was installed but Im not saying it definitely was the problem. Ive seen them cause similar issues in the past. Also, there may be an over heat protection thats set too low, but that motor is definitely not over heating. I know that motor can handle atleast double the power that bike is pushing, without cooling mods. ive done it! I live in florida! its 100 every day. It wouldnt need cooling mods until it got up over 8 or 9 kw. I have one with statoraid injected! Im not talkin shit man, I love the content and the info, just merely trying to educate. That bike is in no danger of over heating with a 50 amp controller. Mine never did. Before mods. If they have it set up like that, its not right.

Look my brother that bike should have mirrors I went down and bought some mirrors that the bicycle shop had and they really stick out and they have a clamp that will clamp on anything you just have to squeeze it with channel lock pliers it's the same thing as wearing a helmet you need mirrors I'm always watching what's behind me to see what they're going to do and I've had somebody go by me at a very high rate of speed and he was very close to me and I wished I had a camera on my helmet Plus the jerk was speeding

I don’t understand why it’s acceptable for speedometers on e- bikes to be off by 3 or 4 mph. Isn’t accuracy important? If this were the case with cars, it would be scrutinized much more heavily. Why is it different for bikes? Simply put, the speedometer should be accurate. If it’s not, the bike is flawed. This isn’t acceptable. I would be so annoyed-how are you okay with that? You spend all this money on something that should work, but it doesn’t.
How do we know it's the speedometers that are off or the gps? GPS needs a cell signal that can drop in and out and the gps reading will be wrong. But yes I agree the speedometers should be accurate and these companies should sell what they claim.

Btw, the battery is 17s, not 16s, which has different voltages/percentage of battery remaining. It charges up to ~71V.

In the settings there is a start strength option also in boost gear you can change how many levels of pedal assist. Nice video!

Got my goat and charging the battery it’s still red and it’s been plugged in for 3 hours. But it showed blue at unboxing.

In the display menu did you set the tire diameter to 22.8"? That should correct your speedometers accuracy.
My Revv1 (dual battery w/ balancer) does 41mph on the flats.

How do we know it's the speedometers that are off or the gps? GPS needs a cell signal that can drop in and out and the gps reading will be wrong. But yes I agree the speedometers should be accurate and these companies should sell what they claim.
