You are very welcome. That is one thing that I find frustrating when I watch certain car review videos, you have no idea how tall the person is, so you have no idea how big the car is, or not. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it.
This is indeed a beautiful car. But I am kinda disappointed by the price point. It would have beeen nice is there was a base model at a lower price point.
I agree that it would be nice if there was a lower priced model; maybe an LFP battery option version would be possible? I doubt Hyundai would do it though.
It looks great and nice to see an alternative to the SUV format. But i do feel it has unnecessary tech and electronics like most new EVs and i wish the manufacturers would think more about efficiency and affordability.
I agree that it is nice to not see the latches but that is exactly how the Kia EV6 is. You cannot see the latches in the EV6 because they are not on the top of the seats, they are on the side of the bottom portion and are manual adjustment reclining levers like you would find on manually adjustable front seats. You can see what I mean at this point in the video I made last year: ua-cam.com/video/vPvTgfWyzrk/v-deo.html
The main issues are that it requires extra editing time, essentially more work, and you have to be open to self ridicule, something that is not easy; especially when it is open to tens of thousands of people on the Internet, if not more. I am fortunate that I rarely get negative comments, but even those very few bad apples sting and can be discouraging... OK, I am done 😎 Thanks for taking the time to watch my video.
Don't know if anyone corrected you on this, but when you're talking about the lack of button for the heated/ventilated seats/steering wheel, there is actually a button. However it's more of a shortcut button. It's between the temperature up/down and AUTO buttons, on the bottom, under the CLIMATE button or label or whatever that is. But, like I said, it's more of a shortcut button as it just directly opens the touchscreen menu page for the seats/steering wheel.
Thank you. Yes, the first comment listed above, the pinned comment, as well as an added note in the description mention it. Thanks for confirming though. I still think they should have added dedicated buttons or touch controls for them since they are features that are used on a more day-to-day basis. Thanks again! 😎
35:27 - So what's a bummer is that the US version of the Digital Green color is gloss, not matte like you have there. MUCH PREFER the matte. Good to be in Canada.
Interesting. I did not know that. One thing to consider with matte paint is that it is more difficult to maintain. I originally wanted matte grey for my EV6 but after watching some videos about matte paint care, I changed my mind and went with gloss red.

The watch app should be made available to Kia EV6 owners since the Ioniq 5 and 6 have the Bluelink version and both Bluelink and Kia Connect cellphone apps are almost identical in Canada. I really don't get why Kia has not released it.
Too many cheap materials at this price point and the range hit at the highest trim level is disappointing. Seems like Hyundai was really close to a winner here but didn't quite make it.

The base will be the cheapest and minus one motor cuts costs. That being said, less is more as the range is the best. @Jeff Menard RWD in an EV is not like in an ICE. Don't forget that the electric motor is right over the rear wheels, putting all of the weight where it needs to be. Add the fact that the traction control of an EV is insane, it is much better than you would think. For those who can't afford the AWD, the RWD offers much more range, and still offers a good driving experience. Obviously AWD is better, but it comes at a cost of both money and range.
