- How I hooked up my Ebike brake lights. I run all my lights on my xclass 48v Ariel Rider on a separate system with up graded lights. I had a very hard time figuring out how to get the brake lights working without disconnecting the motor cut off or crossing the 48v system to my 12v light system. Thanks to this very quick video by another youtuber I was able to get my lights running. sorry for how dark the video is, I need brighter lights in my garage.

Thank you so much for this! Your explanation was thorough. I was stumped and almost gave up till I found your video. Bought and installed the same relay and now I have brake lights! 🤙😃
Just the details that I needed. Game 2 subscribers, my buddy and I. Thanks for the big help
This was what I was looking for, Thank you!
Fantastic video!
I love to see females being nice with their hands. Dope, i have the same 12v rear lights just took out controllers and found the 3 clips that power the stock brake lights in rear. Going to cut and connect the wires. Wish me luck its my 1st time doing this. Hope i dont mess it up.
I've been trying to figure out how to use the motor cut off lever to also engage the brake light. There's
Just an FYI for Ariel Rider Grizzly Owners... this single relay method will not work for the Grizzly. According to the facebook group, you'll need to use the Dual Relay version of this circuitboard and hook it up different. I'm still trying to figure out how to hook it up.
Can I get the wiring hook up
I am seeing a small mist of smoke when I hold down my brake lever for too long... it stays on and won't turn off if I hold it down for more then 10 seconds ... does yours do the same ?
I have not seen any smoke from mine. Might do some tests to check. Do you have a 48v or a 52v?
@@woodlandninjas4773 52v. I'm trying to do mine in the grizzly.
Here is a video of mine. ua-cam.com/video/rFRVKadbWnI/v-deo.html
I tried holding down the brake lever without the 12v external battery and without the lights and the board would still get stuck on if I hold the brake lever down for 10 seconds + (the board heats up too)
@@woodlandninjas4773 I think I was using the wrong relay. I was using a 12v instead of a 5v
Me not have a motor cut off for my brakes
