      David T we live in a day in age where everything's being recorded. So knowing that, what he did was absolutely horrible just knowing the facts that were being recorded all the time. Then he went and lied about it. Did he not think that the recording would ever come out?
      Hopefully he learned his lesson and for his sake that he's able to play again with another team.
      These players definitely need to be held accountable for their actions especially if it comes out on video so if they don't want to respect the positions that they hold in the public eye and also the ramifications of such actions, then let them fall.

      How far would you like to see Stephen A. take the blame the victim thing? For example, if he thinks women should not provoke men to hit them, would he also say young black men should not provoke the cops to profile them, by committing fewer crimes? The problem with blaming the victim is that victimizers will seize on that as a self-serving pretext. If Stephen A. wants to tell women how to behave around men, he should tell women privately, and not in the hearing of men who will use women's behavior as an excuse to hit them. That's what ESPN cares about, because ESPN is a competently-run business. When the rest of you clowns manage to run a large business with a public image to protect, you might learn what that entails. Hint: it entails something more than a ghetto mindset of responding to slights with violence.

This could mean one year suspension and 1000 hours of community service & training and psych evaluations for those that have committed domestic violence acts. This way you rehab the player and make society a safer place. The punishment is strict enough for a player to realize his actions but gives him a second chance.

      So you're saying we should not believe Kareem Hunt now that he's apologizing for what the video shows him doing? That's weird. The dude lied about what he did initially, then the video came out and he apologizes after getting fired. Sounds to me like he himself saw a problem with what he did, to lie about it. If you think kicking women is cool, let's hope you're not posting under your real name. These comments live forever on the Internet and you'll never be able to run for public office or hold a position of any responsibility. OK, I take that back. You'll easily be able to run for office as another scumbag Republican.

    It’s crazy how women can get away with. The get all in a guys face slaps him the audio was muted but I heard somewhere that she was calling him racial slurs the entire time..... he reacts, pushes her and then gives her a love tap ( that was not the vicious kick the media is making it out to be) and now somehow he is the bad guy and loses what he’s worked his entire life to achieve.... please someone explain how that’s fair

    • @danielmocsny5066
      @danielmocsny5066 5 років тому

      Thousands of other guys worked their entire lives too, and now one of them is getting a shot. The NFL has a fixed number of roster spots. Eventually the NFL will fill those spots with grown men who understand you don't respond to slurs with violence. And I don't see anyone kicking the radio every time a racial slur comes across loud and clear in a rap tune. Rappers get paid millions of dollars to shout the same slur that gets a white woman kicked? Let's talk about double standards.

    • @jakeroberts4479

      Do any of you Einsteins understand why Stephen A. cannot say that? Because if he did, and he did not get suspended, it would start to raise questions about other victims we might blame. For example, would Stephen A. say that maybe young black males are in part responsible for the police profiling them? Or would he say that maybe the Jews could have avoided the Holocaust by trying harder to get the Germans to like them? The problem with these cases should be obvious: there are bad people in the world who are looking for any excuse to justify their mistreatment of someone. Do we really want the jackasses of the world to think that there is some circumstance in which a woman deserves to get hit? Or a young man deserves to get stopped and frisked because of the color of his skin? Or a person deserves to be murdered because of their religion? There are some lines you can't cross, because bad people are motivated to stretch those lines beyond all recognition. Even if some women who get abused might have done something to make it more likely, you can't say that in the hearing of men who get off on abusing women. That's something that could only be shared privately among the women.

    The NFL and the Chiefs could NOT legally go and get that tape and avoid suit. Why don't the analyst and speakers on these shows know or even think about this? TMZ is the press and they can't be sued by anybody for obtaining the video. Hunt's or the victim's attorneys could have sued the NFL for obtaining and using the video. Therefore, as much as I may not agree with the league, they were right in NOT seeking the video, etc. They are not the law. Come on Stephen A. you are supposed to know this!

    I know what Kareem did was wrong, but imagine being the guy who sold the video to TMZ for a few thousand dollars.... a short monetary gain, to ultimately ruin this young man’s career. Kareem didn’t know about the video, he said that.

    • @danielmocsny5066
      @danielmocsny5066 5 років тому

      The public interest far outweighs the career aspirations of a criminal. Everybody who watches the NFL deserves to know what they're watching. We, the paying customers, get to decide if we want to watch men who kick women on the floor. Besides, the NFL is a zero sum game. Some other player will get his shot now that Kareem is out. Every team has the same fixed number of roster spots and has to spend the same minimum percentage of the cap. So the guy who sold the video didn't ruin anything on balance. He just transferred an opportunity to the next man up. And Kareem knew exactly what he was signing up for. That's why he lied about what he did, before the video came out. He knew he violated the contract he signed. The only man who ruined Kareem's career is Kareem. And if you think that episode was a one-off, I have a bridge to sell you. Sooner or later the woman beater is going to get caught.
