I am still in awe of Gabby's musicality 4 years later. No captain has served me that since & Jada was the closet thing. The fact there are so many videos in 18 that weren't used and Gabby only served as capt for that year is crazy🔥
Gabby was the total package doll. Grace, class, musicality, and presence. TO ME she is the best doll captain of the 2010s era after D’Tara. Many captains may be more popular but no one TO ME did it all from walk-ins, stands, fieldshows etc. She rocked it all and it was overshadowed because of the hatred behind the captain position. She was also robbed from a 2 year stint. It took the dolls years to recover after they did that. They just (to me) came back after Ari tore it up for the 22 season. 19-21 wasn’t it (to me).
It seems like they were trying to prevent a 3rd two-year captain in a row because Jordan was in nursing and would’ve inevitably did a 5th rip had she made captain, and gabby was only a 3rd year doll so for the next year they gave it to Micah

It’s Gabby for me overall!🔥 Her swag and fluidity is unmatched. You can feel the emotion in her. Musicality through the roof. Count selection was🔥 Ari was a great captain, and I appreciate her. She reminds me of a mixture of Gabby and KP. A little more on the softer side.

[Or] disliked Gabby as captain because they expected Jordan; literally a bash session the ENTIRETY of 2018. Jordan and Gabby had no control over a decision made by admin, but yet ‘Dani’s fans, Jordan’s fans, and “in the moment”’ doll fans decided to be downright flagitious towards Gabby. Also, there were some drastic changes in leadership that ultimately may have led to Gabby being chosen over Jordan (IYKYK). 2018 revealed that most are not true fans of (doesn’t appreciate) THE Fabulous Dancing and the rich history of the entire organization. GABBY DID NOT LACK DURING HER SEASON, but sadly, all of ‘18 will forever be overshadowed by the BS caused by pseudo doll fans. Support and understanding is all that was needed.
