In entire western sectors entertainment bussiness has changed drastically just last 15-20 years, streaming online, conventional cable networks also because of that are forced to change, only still developing Nations smaller centers where internet is not common has sizable theatre going audience now in this drastic changes, the most important factor remains now are is quality of content that’s all in given fiscal years budgets versus revenue earned through subscriptions or ads
For those that lived in these times, there was a magic to the Video Store. You had to guess and hope that you would choose good stuff, based on almost identical cover art. Kind of like gambling in away. Roll them bones. And the late fee stress was also kind of like gambling. Owing your bookie and trying not to think about it. The endorphin rush of looking at that cassette that was actively pissing away money as you didn't return it. And, we didn't pause as much when screening. There was more reverence to the experience. You put The Cassette into The Machine and pressed play and sat down and watched. Having everything available, instantly, always, is great, don't get me wrong. But it's turned us in to the ADHD gulls in Finding Nemo. Three screens on the go while we text. Hug a tree.

The sixties didn't start until 1967 and went halfway into the seventies. By the late 70's big hair was all in and it lasted til the early 90's.
Paying for content, 😂.... I cut the cord on EVERYTHING....

Star Wars was not non-political.
