I think it's pretty evident that after the roll-them-off-the-assembly-line-as-quick-as-we-can mindset that came as a result of the pandemic, that resulted in SO MUCH CRAP, post-pandemic a few manufacturers are stepping up with a we can do (MUCH) better attitude. It's great to see!
The ability to control the the trailers electronics with the Garmin is amazing!
Absolutely love this, but wish they had twin beds in front! A couple other concerns/preferences would be the insulation and 4 seasons capability, more efficient AC, bigger grey tank, and would love to see Lithionics. But overall, they hit this out of the park! Love to see a camp side desk with a big window, such a rare feature!
They need a 12v ac unit to make the prefect trailer
So Shane is walking around in shorts and a T shirt, and everyone else is bundled up. You can see the breath on some folks. Shane is a beast! lol The Pause is nice and looks well built. Safe travels
Haha! Thanks Bubba Tim! Hopefully we will see you at the next rally. Even if it is not in your Black Series. :)
When Shane is excited about a trailer you know it’s gonna be good.
Yes, we agree. We only bring on Brands we feel are good quality. We will drop brands if we don't feel they are good quality. If you have been following us for a long time you will see we have pulled away from anything that we felt the quality was not good.
I just found the price....$138,000.....YIKES! Amazing what you can design and build with no limit....Nice!
Theme of the tour... AMURICA! 😆 These rigs are sick!
I can't wait until there is a head to head comparison & test of this against the Imperial Outdoors Xplore X145.
It'd definitely be a tight race haha
This trailer is so beautiful. We got to see it at the show and spend a lot of time in it. For my family of 3 this is a great trailer for us. There was hidden bed for my daughter and the outside kitchen was great. I love how the bed didn’t take space when put away.
It really is!
Well the tech on these are amazing looks like one of the first actual “smart trailers”
If there where a model with the best parts from both rigs. Love the outdoor kitchen, would also love an indoor kitchen and that gun safe with an onsuite.
They have a few new models already in the pipeline. Will be out next year.
... gotta have a gun safe with an en suite!
This or the Xplorer x22 or x195....glad I have a little time...but do love the washer in the black series...looks like I will be going to sc to check them out in person
This unit will have space for a washer and dryer. BS only has a washer.
Awesome overall grade of A+ Thank you
It was only a matter of time before we got a smart RV haha. That's awesome.
I love the giant fridge and huge double skylight setup. It looks so cool
Hey I talked to you at the SC center, stopped by with my family, we had the black tundra. We went to the Expo and saw this camper and really like it. I heard on the video that yo will be getting one at your facility. Can I get on a notification list or something so that we can come take a look when you guys get one in.
Yes. Please text us your name and email address to 801-860-0035 and we will add you to the list. Thanks
I’m intrigued. I had watched another video on it already. It does have some impressive features. Curious about it’s 4 season capabilities even though I believe it’s rated as a 3 season, it seems as if it could handle 4 seasons to some extent. But these models are to heavy so I’ll be looking to see what the smaller floor plans have to offer. I have to say, I was a little surprised ROA is bringing an Indiana camper aboard but I always try to keep an open mind. Can’t wait to see a video putting it through its paces.
We are on the same page with you Tom. We were surprised too. We were super skeptical before putting our hands on them. If America is going to step up their game we want to try and support them. Even if it comes from Indiana... :) It is exciting to see more and more people stepping up.
Hoping for a smaller unit that I could tow with my Gladiator, I'm in the market for a Dweller 13 for 2023 but this could be a contender depending on the size.
There will for sure be an option for the Gladiator.
I wish someone would make a trailer that's arranged like a UEV490, (sleeps 4) but was insulated. Would love to have enough solar capacity and energy storage to run a 12 volt AC all day in the summer.
I'm ok with an outside bath, and toilet. Must have an outside kitchen with lots of frig and freezer space.
I'm hoping that someone builds one within the next few year.

Feedback. How about doing a video while visiting the manufacturing plant? See exactly how they are building it, showing the process, the innards of the wall. Suggestion: talk to them about small shelf on either side of the bed, with an outlet and USB port. The Shelf & outlet for those of us with CPAP machines. Also, the windows. They should have the blinds and net screens built into the window frame, like Australia does. I looked at some of their established trailers, typical American windows, blinds are not built into the window, so too much light can still get in.
Thanks for the comment. They do have outlets buy the bed that you could plug the cpap. Also, the windows do have blinds and screens built into the window. We will make sure to do a more in depth tour when we get one. Also, we plan to do a factory tour as well. Thanks again.
This is very interesting. I would like to see it tested in real life applications. The tech on this thing sets it apart
Nice that you acknowledge Australian built caravans, you boys have taken it to the next level, I own a Lotus Troopper which is a tough off roader but not 4 seasons rated, will be in the states this year and keen to see what you have done, where are you located, by the way we'll done fellas
Thanks so much! We are in Utah and South Carolina.
Yeah this one is good, but explore looks like it’s made for the years. The way they make them so professional!
Yes. They are both very beautiful trailers. It is exciting we are getting more and more options in America. Everyone has different needs and now we have more and more choices. Exciting times.
Mind blowing. It has everything on it! It looks like Berkshire Hathaway owns Palomino. Do you think we get to go camping with Warren Buffett 😂 all seriousness this could really change the off road industry with a big player like this.
Haha! Maybe we will be able to get him to come on a RAOMER Adventure or the ROAMER Rally! LOL
I would actually like to see Pause and Xplore come out with something smaller so us Toyota FJ Cruiser's/4Runners can tow. Keep all the great features and build quality, but in a smaller package.
You know, I got to thinking about this camper, which my wife is now a fan of lol. The only thing it’s missing is a washer & dryer. It does have all that space in the back…🤔
Yes. We think a washer and dryer could certainly fit in the back. We have been getting measurements to try and make one fit.
Disregard my question. Found it ... these are 26 ft length. Upcoming ones are 22 ft and 26 ft again, but different layout (flyer on palomino website with floor plans).
With no slide, I wish it was full width. Don't want a slide, but would need the little extra width. Love the suspension!
Very nice, I would like to see a video of one after a year of off road use, I hope the people building this, are doing a great job and are proud of their work, no just building something to make money and fall apart from normal use, hopefully this America made trailer becomes the best on the market...
We hope it will be one of the best too. America needs to step up and show the world we can make the best products. Here at ROA we have met the people building it and those in charge and we feel like they care and want to make something good. We would not have considered carrying the product if we did not think it was great quality and the people match that quality.
@@ROAOffRoad good to know, I know nothing is perfect, but like I said a good road test will be a good thing for them, some body like, "litebite" check them out, if you haven't already.
@@camperbum Could not find anything on litebrite?
With 1.5" walls, definitely no four seasons, I don't think it's going to make the cut🤔. I could be wrong, I definitely like to see the test that you all going to put it through and then comment about it then! Just watching the video I see few things that needs to be fixed right away
We will see. The materials for the walls are the exact same materials they use for Refrigeration trucks and transport frozen food all over the country. The fact that it is one price with no seams for thermal bridging or no metals for heat or cold transfer. Thickness can be important but the way it’s built and materials are more important. I believe it will be a four season trailer with a few tweaks. It is the first one and there for sure can be improvements.
Just to let you know, it's in my wish list to go visit Nate and become a owner one of your campers (X195). Keep up the good work you are doing, I can't wait to be part of the family!!! (Roamers)
Thanks so much! Looking forward to it. :)
Will this be another trailer in the 100+ range ?
@@waynelakey6573 Easily.
Holy crap! That suspension looks like Bruder with the crazy travel! Didn’t see this coming! Looks awesome but pretty heavy. Lots of space! Queen size bed and outside kitchen are a must.
Yes. It has close to the same travel as Bruder. Pretty cool trailer. We are excited to get it and test it out.
I’m 1/2 through this video; thus far nice job, I’ve already seen the other two videos
Thus one I like best based on the details you’ve dove into
Shame I have to pay cash in America lol
Really cool. Excited about all the cool options coming into the US.
Nice 😊
Will they have one with couch and permanent bed instead of a murphy bed?
Palomino RV is a Berkshire Hathaway company.
You think the price point will ever come down? That’s pricey for the average Joe
I like this one a lot beautiful work 👍
I am shocked he is using that style air conditioner system and not a marine system that uses far less power and ducts just fine. The innovation in the marine field could easily transfer to the rv field. The round kitchen sink has to go through.
When and where is the next expo that you’ll be at?
It would be nice if the wheels have the same bolt pattern as my gm pickup
you guys need to look at a Australian trailer under manufacture company Titanium model Hardcore ATX 22.6 ft. that's a trailer , The one you showing has some good point but I don't understand why it has storage room in the back, plus there no kitchen table, plus why the width of the trailer not extended to wheel base it will get little more room
Thanks for the input. The width is for better off road capability. If you are too wide it will be hard to get in the tight off road trails.
What materials are the walls and outer body of the caravan made of?
What's the R value on these walls?
How well insulated is it?
We are still waiting for test on winter capability. The materials they are using for the walls and roof are the same material used in Semi Trucks to transport frozen food. So the materials are very well insulated. Stay tune for more info.
Proudly USA made from nothing in the US of A like all the other campers in America. Besides this is a prototype that has a slim chance of making it to production
Not sure what you mean? This is not a Prototype type? We are already selling these trailers and they are landing at our facilities though-out the US over the next couple weeks.
This looks great except my experience with Renogy is it is junk with poor customer support. I am not a big fan of the Nautilus systems either, I had that in my fifth wheel and after some issues I ripped it out and built my own.
Thanks for sharing. We have given them this same feedback on the battery system. They could be a change to this system sooner than later. :)
Starlink is not that great. There's too many people using it and throttling the speed - if you work remotely you lose the ability to do so with the throttle of the speed.
I saw the pause at a RV Show - I definitely am considering it.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully Starlink will figure it out. It is still relatively new. :)
Great trailer, but the awning doesn’t cover the full outdoor kitchen . For the price point of this unit a person shouldn’t have to retrofit the awning . Just me
Agree. Saw a number of trailers at expo that had the same problem. It’s like they never actually test the layout when it’s raining.
Why do they have a lousy ball hitch on an off-road trailer? And the tongue jack set so far forward you can't open the truck's tailgate. This is the same tongue setup as all of the cheap Indiana trailers and not up to the standard of a caravan style trailer.
I want one
Are solar panels included? Is EMP protection optional with this trailer?
looks cool. I'm sure the price would put me into shock. lol
The other video I saw they said over $100k... again.
@@ryanhammerel2654 The market has no mercy when inflation has been going up between 7-9% every month since the beginning of the year.
When will the pause be available?
We are already taking orders for them. We will have some getting compete next week and start shipping first week of Dec. Let us know if you have any questions. You can text us at 801-860-0035
Off-road, yeah right. Take it on a jeep trail.
You can count on it! You should see some of the other trailers we've taken on jeep trails. The Pause will likely handle them even better with the tandem axle.
... if they're copying Australian designs, why buy anything other than Australian? ... Australian campers, caravans and trailers are built for the out back, for real wilderness, not the 4* glamping grounds that Americans expect and are used to ...
Shipping an Australian trailer to the US costs a ton of money. The Pause might be expensive, but to get its equivalent from Australia is probably gonna run you another 10k at least.
We are not copying Australia. We are taking stuff from Aus and making it better than the products in Aus. The American climate is way worse than Aus. Aussies don't understand the climates we deal with in the US are much more harsh. From Death valley with temp over 120 degrees to snow and ice and below zero. from sea level to over 10,000 ft in the Mountains. We know you guys deal with some sandy beaches and wilderness but we deal with life and death climates and altitudes. Most trailers in Aus could not make it through the winter here.
@@ROAOffRoad Bruder on UA-cam shows their trailers in harsh conditions throughout the world. They are definitely 4 season plus they are not wider than the tow vehicle including a ford truck. The EXP 6 sleeps 6 and has a indoor and outdoor kitchen. It also has a washer. I hope you get some here so I can buy one from you.
Nice trailer. But I would have to disagree about Garmin controlling everything being a good thing. Redarc is way above Garmin as Garmin is clunky. I hope Garmin has gotten better but to be better than Redarc time will tell.
We deal with Redarc a ton on many different trailers. We sell Patriot Campers and that is all they use. We also are installing the system in our X series. Garmin has way more capability over the redarc. Huge fan of Redarc but it is very limited in what it can do. It is a very simple system and that is what we love about it.
Hey Paul, We just got off the phone with someone that works with Garmin. He sent us this link to share with people. Pretty cool info. www.garmin.com/en-US/aviation/G5000-flight-deck-upgrade/
Didn't matter how excellent the build quality is, still a stupid trailer and the value will drop like a friggin rock.
What brand is that refrigerator? I haven't seen a 12v RV model that size before.
Furrion makes an 8cu.ft and 10cu.ft 12v models. Not sure what brand this is.
@@freighter1097 I've seen a lot of 10 cu ft and under 12v models out there. This one looks bigger than 10 cu ft. I also haven't seen a 12v model with two side by side doors like that.
15.6 CU FT FURRION REFRIGERATOR
It is very large. 11amp on full blast.
Refrigerator compartment: 9.5 cu. ft.
Freezer volume: 6.1 cu. ft.
