I'm really glad that you mentioned the lack of slaneesh in this book, the weird over the top extreme stuff was what made the HH novel Fulgrim one of my favourites, and i was really disappointed that we couldn't get a similar novel in 40k

Reminds me of how Dead Men Walking is technically a necron vs krieg book but there is no necron pov
