Thanks so much for this. I sewed myself some cute thigh high socks from your sock pattern. I used ribbing material and I increased the girth of the socks to fit my huge thighs. I will be making them in every color now. I could never find thigh high socks that fit my legs but now I can make my own
I wanna try these socks! I'm a plus size girl and it's hard to find comfortable knee high socks that fit over my calf comfortably. The few pair I have are more glorified tights. These could really be cute! Thanks for the inspiration!

As a knitter as well as a sewist, I would split the brim in 4 wedges to fit like a knit beanie does. It's just a question of adding two more rounded seams! 😉

i made mine taller too, did you find the the band should be wider to accommodate the calf ?
