    This video will show you what causes the forward leaning head look. The nerd neck also known as the tech neck, and how to fix it!
    Do these stretches and hold these positions for 15-30 seconds for about 3 sets in between rounds of videogames, texting, watching TV, etc.

If it's not instant gratification, and instant results with no effort, it's way too much. I'm like 10 cm taller when I standup straight, which is basically never, because it's so hard and painful.

    • @dan.d
      @dan.d 6 років тому +18

      Doctors don't fix problems like this through exercise unless they prescribe physical therapy. Chances are they will just give you meds. Chiropractor, training (such as this video) are the only real ways to correct problems like this. But, you don't need a chiro, you just need to put the work in. 1 hour every other day do your workout and eat good food. You would not believe how much food plays a part in getting well and strong.

    • @kespec
      @kespec 5 років тому

      unless you have some serious bone disease, you don't need a doctor for this one. what the gym instructor suggests is infact the truth. your posture is determined by your muscle mass.when i was a kid i suffered from this nerd posture as well, imo push ups and shoulder are the best exercises that fixes your posture.

    im 6'6. gamed my whole life, and have scoliosis as well as this bad neck issue. I am in physical therapy for my neck and back. shit is real. 'sit up straight' is impossible to follow advice for me without a lumbar support. most chairs encourage bad posture for large people. was 6'4 in 8th grade slouching in my tiny chairs in middle and high school. overall good video. i have back spasms in my back where you pointed, my muscles are weak there. all kinds of stuff. my point is good video overall, this junk is valuable and most people won't notice it until its too late cuz thats just how it goes *shrug* make a psa video lol

    I sleep with a pillow but placing it parellel but my shoulders are ON the pillow and my head is laying on the pillow To and you will feel the lower part of your neck bulk up OR you can lay Your Shoulders on the pillow and Head hanging off the edge of the pillow to where the back of your head is on the bed an arms on your side ((and if you put your fingers on your neck you will feel how much you neck is hunched forward)) Thats what I do sometimes and my neck straightens Up (ALSO be sure to sleep with a couple pillows under your knees for lower back relief sleeping on your side can cause a hunch to)
