It amazes me how natural silent movie acting is.
The Actors had to tell the story with just facial expressions and body language.
When I watch Rudy Valentino I realise what a terrific Actor he was.
It is so sad he passed so young and we would never see how he would have progressed in the talkies.

This video should win an award for excellence in editing. And your choice of music is so perfect. Your choice of film clips & the way they blend into each other brings out Rudy’s smoldering sensuality. If Hollywood ever makes a good & accurate film about Rudy, they should hire you as the editor. Speaking of Hollywood, the Academy Award is coming up soon, March 27th. I’ve sent numerous emails to them & commented on their FB page, that they should honor Rudy at this year’s award show. Please … if you can, send them a note along with this video, and recommend they honor Rudy this year. Perhaps as a film editor with such amazing Rudy video shorts, your suggestion will carry more weight. I don’t see why they can’t carve out a few minutes to honor Hollywood’s first heartthrob…a talented dramatic & comedic actor, a dancer, and with a screen charisma so powerfully seductive that it continues to seduce audiences to this day. My grandmother told me about him when I was 11 y/o. She waited in line twice to see him at his wake in New York. I recorded THE SHEIK for her on VHS and became enamored with Rudy after watching it myself.
