Last wallet you'll ever buy. I love how leather patinas over time and develops it's own character. It adds to the charm and unique aesthetic to leather that nothing else can bring. Maybe some old jeans but nothing is better than great quality leather. The smell the feel the touch. I'm looking to purchase either the medium or the small, heck maybe I'll buy both.
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNELwhen I bought mine it was made out of the cheapest lever over ever felt. I managed to rip the bill fold with just one finger. Also the wallets in this video don't have a beautiful leather patina. They're crumbling apart, because they're made out of cheap leather in Mexico.
AHHH!!! I have two Saddleback Leather briefcases (job requirement). Truly the greatest leather gear in the world. Vinyl and Leather. You're my kinda guy!
I bought the leather “milk” recommended by saddleback and used it right after I did the video... it turned my wallet back to a more mat look and lightened it up a bit while sealing the exposed areas. It looks fantastic now. Highly recommend it. But don’t use it until the wallet has devolved some real patina .
How do the card slots hold cards over time on the medium bifold you have? I’m wondering if they stretch out to the point to where the cards fall out? I usually have only one card, maybe two in each slot.
Well my medium billfold is one of the old ones that go straight across in the card slots, the new ones come down and curve across the card. That said, it’s basically just a little looser than when it was new. Cards stay put. My daily carry is the small.
8 or 9 years ago I purchased a briefcase, laptop sleeve, wallet, business card holder, valet tray, and a few of the small organizer pouches. They all look better-than-new now. Just today I purchased another medium bifold for my son. Interested to see if there's a difference in quality, as you say.
@@EldenLord84Hi, it's been 3 years since you left that comment. Do you think you could tell me how your son's wallet is holding up now? I'm currently looking to buy a wallet as a gift, and I would like to know your (technically your son's) experience with the newer Saddleback wallet. Thank you so much in advance!
I've watched a few videos on Saddleback wallets and it appears that as they age, 2 things happen: they develop a patina, and they look more and more like a rat's nest. I get that an aged vintage look can have some appeal, but in some videos - not this one, so much - they open the card & cash pockets and and they look filthy. Perhaps this is a by-product of using more natural leather that hasn't been treated artificially? Some leather wallets look nice as they age, but in some (*some*) videos I've seen of older Saddleback wallets, they look like something Boris Karloff's mummy carried 3700 years ago.

BOB BRADLEY I’ll have to give it a try then thanks
lookin good 🤟🏼
that passport wallet is nice
I’m trying to decide between the small and medium. How much thicker is the medium in comparison when loaded with cards?
It’s considerably larger, I’d say double the width.
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL thanks! I ordered the small.

Yeah Saddleback doesn't make em' like they used to. Nice collection but they do need conditioning.

yeah I conditioned right after this an they looked great! I used the Chamberlains leather milk really nice!
Quality changing is a total myth. They’ve changed nothing.

The leather milk that they recommend makes the wallet look almost new again, it’s worth checking out….
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL Good to know, thanks! I do wonder why they get so rough in the first place, but w/ persistence the answer will come.
If you put some Venetian on that leather it will look much better
