You made your comment to this video a couple of years ago and probably forgot what you said, but I completely agree with what you said about it being surprising people that people still having good taste in these terrible times.
Hey guys, Roger here. Couldn't find another way to get ahold of you. Such a pleasure running into you in LV! You really helped make my B-day weekend with your kind words. Mr. Dieingly Sad was always one of my favorite 60s gems. Nice cover...now I want to hear the Bad Cop Bad Cop version! Take care and continued success.
Friends , this is Brazil , but the people here , don t know it, we don t listen it in the radios, our true singer and musician of bossa nova lived out of Brazil, so sad!
The songwriter/singer of this song, Don Ciccone, is our father---he would have loved this! Some have said it's not an easy song to sing. Nicely done--with a hint of macabre just as it should be.
@@WhoisMDS_Podcast thank you for saying that! You made my day. I actually made this as a gift for my father, originally. He loved the song and thought it would be a nice one for us to cover. We love 60s music and the macabre, so it was perfect. He turned out to be right. Love your dad’s music! Thanks for the comment, and good luck with the podcast! It sounds rad.
Great cover! You really nailed it! A lot of bands who do covers of this song have trouble with the lyrics in the bridge. You got it exactly right. Great job!
As a "child of the 60's" and someone show is "deeply embedded" in that song, I"m not quite sure what you are doing with it but... I very much enjoyed your performance. Thank you for that.
Actually quite nice! Since I love the original.... kudos for the good vocals, and the great studio/edit/computer work to make it really "tight" !!! Do their other big hit... Younger Girl ???
Wonderful, people do still have taste in these terrible times.
Thank you! We definitely believe good music is timeless

Back again... I'm thoroughly digital, yet this performance totally "grabs" me. Well done my friends. :)

Roger! Thanks so much for reaching out! It was wonderful to meet you. Thanks for the endless inspiration. Hope to run into you again sometime!
I don't know much about music but... It seems to me that these lyrics are magical.
Don Ciccone of The Critters wrote it. Beautiful song, romantic Rumba.
@@JA-jm8bk thanks for the info. I did not realize that was Rumba.
Hmmm... I keep replaying this tune. I suppose I'll wake up at 2:30 this morning and it will be rebounding in my head ;)
