Such an amazing game! ❤️ Toilets can be hidden in buildings to negate the negative decoration effect. And you don't need the trash chute if there's a depot nearby as it will not only supply shops but will also be a trash drop off point 🙌
im on the second campaign mission and... I don't have any doors lol. They really didn't include a door in the tutorial missions?? lol. Turns out the doorway alone will block the sight inside the utility building
I'm pretty sure that the trash chute is worthless in this build. Handymen can drop trash into the depot. The only use for a trash chute is to place it in the long walks between depots for handymen who are very far from your depots. I personally use them very seldom, but when I do use them they go near the seating area for a food court or at the exit of a vomit-inducing ride so the handymen can empty the trash cans of vomit, go to the nearby trash chute with the vomit bag, and then come back to their patrol zone ASAP.
Oh nice, thanks for your comment! I am just getting into this game and hoping I'll love it as much as RCT/2. The additional shop stocking logistics seem interesting but possibly annoying, so any little tips like this are appreciated. Thanks for commenting!
In this build you could even just drop a single door in front of the bathroom, which would cut off all of its negative immersion effect. Doors are as effective as walls when it comes to keeping scenery-affecting objects-positive or negative-from affecting guests. So it looks strange, but to maximize benefit this build needs a door in front of the restroom and NO doors in front of the shops. edit: except glass doors. Glass doors and glass walls are completely transparent about scenery ratings and let all the bad out... so be sure to use opaque walls/doors around ugly utilities and glass walls/doors around beautiful shops :)
thanks! I was having trouble understanding the decoration and didn't even realize the doors had a function. I thought it was just a design/decor thing. Can the park goers use doors too? Like using doors to access an area with bathrooms?
Just trying this game out so checking out your videos :) I love RCT and RCT2 and I am disappointed in the graphics/style of this game, but hopefully I'll be able to get past it unlike Planet Coaster which looks TERRIBLE and I couldn't even play it for a second.

How did you hide the walls on that building at the end?
I thought the doors were only decoration/not functional and didn't actually allow the workers to enter?
you can actually put a door frame in front of the toilet and it blocks the bad scenery
Oh, no, a new series for a game that I don't own.
Good thing it's still Summer Sale for a few more days.
I wanted to make sure I did a few videos on this before the sale ended for exactly that reason. :)
Background music too loud :\

Were you by chance able to find the 'door' in your deco options? I can't seem to find a just a regular ol' door :/
I'll pass...
