The only thing I will say is, if it’s the first time using it or if it’s been a while if you’re starting out dry it takes a minute or two for it to prime the pump.
OMG I just bought it today from Home Depot. I filled it up to 4 gallon but I didn't put in on my back until it was 2 gallon. I used it to spray birdbegon in sections of my lawn. It keeps the birds from my grass seeds. I did it today because no rain is forecasted for 5 days. I added hydretain and water extensively today so that should hold in for 5 days.
Thank you for posting a review of this. I would have enjoyed seeing some video of it in use. I just purchased one today and am eagerly waiting for the rain to stop so I can go do some spraying.
It has a 3 stage filter system that shouldn’t clog. I’ve not had any issues with clogging so i don’t have the best advise other than removing the filters and cleaning them: even occasionally. Best wishes!
It appears that maybe that grey color is suppose to fit over that black tip to secure it onto the holder (?) Anyway thanks for making this, I am considering picking one up 👍
I got a “my4sons” backpack sprayer that runs off the 20V dewalt battery I already had You can also get it configured to work with Makita, milwaukee and like 5 other brands
It uses standard dewalt 20v batteries. Charge time will depend on several factors. Current battery depletion, size of battery, and charger’s ability to fast charge. I’m sorry i don’t have a direct answer. But in most cases probably an hour.
Unfortunately I killed all my weeds and have packed it up for the season. However i may try to make another video with it. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss it. Thanks!!
If you will notice the tip that you said you will lose has a threaded housing at the bottom of it so that you may use one from your wand nozzle to hold the tip in place . Now you will not lose it . Your welcome .
I probably would not do so. This is meant for yard work. (Lawn and garden chemicals). I’d recommend you get a separate paint sprayer if you want to paint.
No it works perfectly for me If you’re having trouble you probably wanna be sure you’re using a fully charged battery or make sure there’s nothing clogged up that would prevent pressure One thing i did notice is every once in awhile i would stop for a few seconds and let the pump prime a bit Best wishes
So far these tips have been great. But I’ve only really used the red one. This sprayer has 3 filters before it reaches the tips so clogging is pretty much non existent.
Thank you for the precise review. (wife mowing the lawn on Mothers Day) she's a keeper Sir. Salute
Awesome! You’re welcome

Awesome. Enjoy. It’s a great tool and sure beats the old pump sprayers!
I bought one two weeks ago. I am liking it.
Yes sir. It’s great!

Yes thank you! It was late in the evening when i finished the video so i didn’t get any footage. But you’re gonna love it
If it clogs up what should you do? I'm on well water and. Concerned with it causing issues. Thanks for the video.

Not according to the instruction manual unfortunately.
I already lost my nozzles like the first 3 sprays. No idea where they went
Lol. Yea they need a storage box in the sprayer for them. The wand just ain’t cutting it for them! :) cheers.

Thanks for posting review
How long does it take to recharge battery ??

Hi. 10 out of 10. That's a great review. I will buy it.
Hope you enjoy it as much as i am! Thanks
Any idea where to get replacement cap nut?
Not sure. Probably have to get it from dewalt i would imagine

Can you use watered down paint in this?
I probably would not do so. This is meant for yard work. (Lawn and garden chemicals). I’d recommend you get a separate paint sprayer if you want to paint.
“Like a good wife” yeah buddy!
;)
Have u had any problems with unable to get the last gallon to spray out
No it works perfectly for me

Sweet. Does the wand extend??
No but i bet extenders will be on the market before long. You could probably easily make one with some adapters.
@@josh-drummond thx!!
How much amps does the battery has? Nice tool 🙂
You can use any battery. It doesn’t have an internal one. I think as for size you can use up to a 6ah dewalt battery.
@@josh-drummond I see thank you Josh 🙏
Welcome!
Lithium ion battery ah ?
You can put up to a 6ah i believe due to compartment size restrictions. Cheers
Good thing you got the background music going otherwise I would be able to understand what you're saying.
Hi. Sorry you’re having trouble hearing it. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. Thanks
can you spray bleach with this sprayer without damaging it?
I wouldn’t, but you might reach out to DeWalt for their opinion to see if they say ok or not
bleach requires bleach safe plastic wand
Mine started leaking from the bottom after a few months :/
That’s awful! You might check the seal. Best wishes!
How much does it cost
My total with tax was 305
To keep that piece on there must be a plastic nut that keeps that secured and the other one stays on the wand
If so i didn’t have one in my box. I think I’ve already lost it too :(
Only comes with 2 cap nuts need to find where to but another cap nut so all peices will stay together
True, it’s too bad the holder is missing one spot for it though
The tips look like the same type as on the pump ups . Of which I don't like very much ,they clog and leak frequently
So far these tips have been great. But I’ve only really used the red one. This sprayer has 3 filters before it reaches the tips so clogging is pretty much non existent.
The strap is workable but they could have padded it some more
I agree. However it’s been comfortable for me to use. I only use it with 2 gallons so it’s half as heavy also. But has not been uncomfortable at all
I wonder why Lowe's dont sale it but they sale alot over dewalt items
Good question. I wonder that as well
Made in China?
Most likely. But I’m not sure off hand
