Alyn Syms - The Enlightened Path

I wrote this song after being in a bad car accident in 2003. Seeing the sunset the day after it felt like my first. I wrote this celebrating life, freedom and a new heightened appreciation for the path that I was on. A new and better one, an enlightened path. I played it for a friend in the UK and all she saw in her mind was the American West in all of its glory, a uniquely American gift to the world. As everything else in " Black Forest ", I am playing all of the instruments on this. This song always puts me in a better place and I hope it does for you as well.
