When I eat salmon I start crying, does that count?
Yes.
Nah youre Just a vegan
Well @Vivec, you certainly got your value out of learning how to pronounce ichthyoallyeinotoxism.
I went from not having heard of it, to guessing the meaning, to knowing the meaning, to grokking it, to semantic satiation, all in a few minutes. Kudos to you.
Would really love a video on ancient Egyptians doing psychedelics. I know a guy who saw Anubis on a DMT trip and now I’m having so many thoughts and ideas about the relation between religion and psych. I’m usually more of a “logical” thinker but this makes me really start to believe psychs are the key to unlock our brains to access higher dimensions
They actually found residue of blue lotus wine on in the urns inside the pyramids
blue lotus is psychoactive so it suggests they sat in the tombs drinking this and then discussing how to improve their society
I’ll second this 🙋🏽♂️
Agreed. I've seen hieroglyphics as well as Anubis on shrooms a couple of times
In Finland we have a fish that produces alcohol (ethanol) to its bloodstream during winter time to warm itself up and slow its metabolism. I've heard people can get drunk eating it. The fish is called "ruutana" I believe.
Why does it chose alcohol to warm itself
@@theprodigalson4003 I'm not sure but that's what it starts doing when the lakes freeze. It moves very little during that time so I guess it also partly uses it as fuel since that time there's little food in the environment. I'm not a marine biologist however so I'm not really sure.
Edit: after reading some wikipedia the fish is a kind of carp and the alcohol is to somehow stay alive in water that lacks oxygen and sometimes freezes to the bottom so the fish literally doesn't move at all. Only is stuck in ice drunk.
@@reme7903probably because alcohol freezes at much lower temperatures.
@@footingball5566 that's a good point
Woah 😳 this fascinating vivic I didn’t know a fish could that thanks for making a video on this🔥
I loved this it’s so fascinating how nature is all connected
THIS CHANNEL IS THE ONLY ONE ON UA-cam DOING AMAZING TRIP REPORTS LIKE THIS.
so in a way this is like a natural alternative to DOB, DOM, or bromodragonfly that also makes u hallucinate for days
Another banger my guy🙌🏽
Didn't Hamilton Morris write/produce a feature on this topic?
I mention that in the video and have linked the documentary in the description
I think he flashes his face in the video
I loved this video style!
🧦Wool socks to bed = most rem sleep possible 🟪🟨🟤
Chat is this real?
I would go crazy with hot feet
definitely make more stuff like this, very interesting stuff
that impression was crazy🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That would be awsome to hear more about this on your channel! Please more trippy fish!!
Once again the debauched ancients maybe a little wiser than we thought. Romans also tried electric rays eels for epilepsy.
I do really want a third part to the "Psychedelics Through History" series!
This one’s gonna be a banger
LOVE your channel. I study plant medicine (esp psychedelics) and have come across this while researching the Haitian Zombie concoction years ago- it being one of the main ingredients. Wild stuff. I'm down to try it!
I’d certainly like to learn more about Ancient Egyptian Psychedelic Ritualistic Practices, and more generally all different culture’s and their Psychedelic Rituals
Really interesting, so even other fishes are tripping 😅
Very interesting video blud
Ayeeeee perfect timing😎
i went to the aquarium with my kid the day you post this... wild
nice video :)
SpongeBob and Patrick be trippin on this ish
hell yea do more of these type of vids
Great vid love this shiiiiiiaaaat
Cool to see a new kind of content. Super interesting how psychedelic compounds can even be found as far as the depth of the oceans. Just wonder how much further we may find them in the future. DMT is contained all over the nature of Earth for instance... maybe we aren't the only planet
Super interesting! Have you heard of Catha edulis?
I heard about sea sponge DMT!!
Wow
If you like cool swimming around with fish games.. Abzu is a beauty.
chill fishhh
Would love to see a video on potential use of ergot infested grain in elusinian mystery cult initiation ceremonies. One myth associated with the cult is a story which involves Demeter, goddess of harvest, drinking a kykeon made up of water grain and wine. It is thought that drinking a kykeon made of grain and wine was a rite performed in initiation ceremonies. This is very interesting because grain , especially in those days, was highly susceptible to ergot fungus infestation ( LSD being derived from the alkaloid ergotamine tartrate I believe) so it is very well possible that personal divine experience can be correlated with hallucination and poisoning due to ergot infested grain. Whether they new the grain had magical properties or not I’ve no clue. But it is very interesting you have to admit. Tickles my fackeen brain I tell ya
Hamilton Morris did a film about trippy fish munching.
edit.. He mentioned it.
I can't find the full film, just a 10 minute clip on YT

You should make a video about the fermented shit in a jar
hell yea jenkem
Issa coming 💩
When you say ancient Egypt, do you have blue lotus in mind?
Serpa salpa?
blub blub
Lowkey Fish
more psychedelics throughout history!!
It is a most elusive fish!
And it went wherever I did go.
Ooooh, fishy, fishy, fishy fish!
A-fish, a-fish, a-fish, a-fishy, ooooh.
Ooooh, fishy, fishy, fishy fish!
That went wherever I did go
Nice. That whole sketch seemed like it was made on fish toxin!
@@kristianjerman420 hey maybe they knew about it. Pretty sure at least a couple of those guys dabbled in some LSD. When I saw the title that's the first thing that popped into my head. Underrated movie. Sure it was pretty much just a bunch of skits loosely tied together with a bigger budget than the show but it's got some hilarious scenes.
What’s the game?
ABZU
More psychedelics throughout history!
Intro song anybody?
It's in the description
@Vivec Thanks man. Such a great tune. I love how a song from a silly nintendo game has so much depth. Love your content.
Kiss it
I bet it taste funny
Sassy the Sasquatch had a toke on one of these!
not to discredit your writing (giving the benefit of the doubt that it is your writing) but for some reason this really sounds like it was generated by chatGPT?
btw, despite this i still really enjoyed this video :) and i'd really like to see more like it, maybe even a psychedelic compound "iceberg" video? that would be really interesting
@@fremzenec I just wrote a simplistic overview in the vein of the previous two episodes of the "Psychedelic Use Throughout History" series.
Yes, there is an iceberg style video in the works! It will be an extremely lengthy and thorough analysis.
@@VivecGonna be great to see
Hell yeah Vivec thx for the knowledge
Hallucinogenic fish poisoning...
Is it possible that organisms in the past or even in the future could utilise psychoactive chemicals as a defence mechanism??? 🫨🦃
Magic mushrooms and weed. Also puffer fish I’m sure there are many more examples lol
