    Lots to learn in this lesson! Beautiful handling of paint. I’ve found different brands of ultramarine have slightly different properties perhaps because of different binders? Anyway, something you could try.

      Thank you, Susan! I actually use French Ultramarine. I think pigments in this one and Ultramarine Blue and Ultramarine Blue Deep are very slightly different in terms of temperature and granulation. They are all medium-staining though! :)

      @@KseniaAnnis it was quite a dramatic effect with cobalt! So it probably is a staining issue.
