@@DuckbumSD There was enough extra material that I think it would be possible to put one strip on the bed side, and another on the tailgate itself. Could do the job if you have an extra large gap to fill!
Yes, it's not 100% dust proof but it has offered a significant improvement. We show the results in our Steens Mountain video that went up last week. A little dust still makes it in, but under the same conditions without the seal there would have been a layer coating everything in the camper. As far as changes go we'll have to see if we can determine where the remaining dust is getting through. Next step may be to focus on the camper, not the tailgate.
Hey good tip! Just got the fan wired so it hasn't actually been running at all while all of the existing dust collected. We'll experiment with using it to create some positive pressure. I can see that working as long as we are the only rig on a dusty road. In a convoy that might be a different story 😂

It's a super simple/cheap mod! Honestly wish we had installed it sooner.

you need to Reverse that ceiling Fan, it is sucking air into the shell.
make it blow down into the shell and force the dust out.
