Oh that All the Fiends of Hell book sounds so good! I feel like I keep expecting ventriloquist stories to be scary because those dummies are so creepy, but I feel like everyone I’ve read has oddly been underwhelming
@@kleffgoeverafter It was really good! I’ve only read two ventriloquist dummy books. I really would like to find a really scary one. Maybe that will be my new mission. Haha
I don't read a lot of horror, but I love watching scary movies. Generally, I don't get scared very easily, but a book that just creeped me out and still had my skin crawling after I would put it down for the night was The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher. It wasn't scary per say, but most of the time after watching a scary movie or reading a book I am completely fine. This one just gave me the creepy feeling afterwards as well. Not sure if it would have the same effect on those who read a lot of horror, but I loved it.
@@tibbarasden I’m gonna have to check that out! I’ve heard great things about T. Kingfisher’s work. It’s funny that I’m opposite. I read a ton of horror but haven’t watched a lot of scary movies. Haha.
Hi, new subbie here! I adore a spooky 👻 book! Here to support fellow booktubers! Also, I'm adding a bunch of these to my wishlist 😂 also, what lipstick are you wearing because its gorgeous on you 😊
Hi SLBN, greetings again from Toronto. I hope you are well. This was a good idea for a video. Thanks for the upload. Nightmare Nirvana does have a scary looking cover, and it sounds interesting. I like Adam Nevill and All the Fiends of Hell sounds like a great story plus it has a frightening cover! The scariest book I’ve ever read is Ghost Story by Peter Straub. It’s quiet horror, but it’s creepy very unnerving. The copy I have (1979) has a boring cover and wouldn’t scare anyone! In that case, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Take care and good reading to you!
@ Thank you! I will definitely check out Ghost Story. It’s wild how many scary books have non-scary covers. It’s like a sneak attack. 😂 I appreciate the recommendation!
What is the scariest book you've ever read?
AHHH I THINK I SAW MY BOOK ON YOUR SHELF 😍 Always grateful you showed my little spooky dark fantasy on your channel!

This was a cool idea! The covers on a few of those are so freaky.
I'm not sure what the scariest book I've read is.
@@edlewisnoctreviews Thank you! I like a scary cover.

I always judge books by their covers. 🤷♀️ This was fun! 🖤
