There are literally like 0 aftermarket options for these. Such a waste of a good engine and car. Just wish some kind of rear mount system would come out
Engine needs a direct port wet n20 setup with a stand alone fuel system... sure it would make great power and also help keep carbon deposits in check, pretty sure that motor wouldnt mind a 150-200shot
Any estimates on power gains for the supercharger? Can't imagine you can run much boost through such a high compression engine. I'll be curious about how the transmission holds up too. Still super exciting for the possibility of supercharged V10 S6s roaming around lol.
Very nice!! So tell me guys, what is the real DEAL with this engine? What were the real limitations Audi placed on it from the 5.0 V10 in the Gallardo? Aside from displacement? On the Audi forums, I've read everything from different bore/stroke, different cams, to the intake being poorly designed, not being able to breathe at high RPM. Another one I've seen great discussion about is the headers, and their position in order to fit in to the C6's chassis. Many say that the setup is so complicated, no company makes aftermarket performance headers for it, which is where most claim that the power is restricted. Another additional 2 questions for ya guys: Are you guys looking into developing the necessary, custom headers for the car? And lastly, you guys have said on a couple posts on here, that you will be looking to built a supercharger for the V10... I'm curious, wouldn't it be easier/more cost effective to stroke the motor? Say increase the displacement to 6.0 or 6.2 Without needed to go with designing an FI kit? That would be awesome!
We haven't found the limitations yet. But we will eventually! As for part differences, we would need to disassemble each engine side by side to compare. Yes, the headers are very complicated. However we have made some one-off sets before. You can see them on audirevolution.net. We may or may not turn it into a complete product. Yes, a supercharger kit is something we are looking into for these cars if there is enough demand. No, engine build would be more difficult and more costly as well.
JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM) Ahh... I see. Well good thing you guys are working on a forced induction kit. This thing would be a true beast. Hell, I think even with upgrades headers and your guys' catback + tune and a perhaps a proper cold air intake (don't know if this would be necessary, since Audi airboxes are great), could get this thing to 500hp.
Not sure if you guys have seen this link, but curious if you can replace the cast aluminum pistons for some 10:1 ratio pistons and put a procharger on this engine. I read somewhere that the R8 and Gallardo variant 5.2L V10's may have had higher revving internals and different cams to allow for more HP N/A. Seems like the engine is overbuilt for durability and cooling, so a slight drop in CR would still provide ample throttle response along with more boost. I am sure there is a point of trade off in power to cost. www.vaglinks.com/vaglinks_com/docs/ssp/VWUSA.COM_SSP_923603_5.2lL_V10_FSI_Engine.pdf
We offer the OEM intake manifold for the V10, the part we offer is the most up to date, revised OEM part directly from Audi jhmotorsports.com/intake-manifold-oem-for-c6-s6-and-d3-s8-w-5-2l-fsi-v10.html
You sure do! We have already mocked it up and we are able to build a kit for this car. We are also waiting to guage demand before getting too involved with a production kit. There are two ways we do this. 1. by how well the product line we have now sells and 2. by how many inquiries into an SC kit for this car. With that being said if someone was interested in getting a kit and leaving there car for a while we see no issue with building it now.

I need a new intake are yours actually new or rebuilt old ones . I want a brand new one . A guy said he bought one but the numbers stamped on it showed it was older and he wasn't the happiest .
I'm interested in knowing the average weight of the black Audi, is the engine turbocharged or NA can it use peripheral ports and if it's not turbocharged, is it turbo-friendly??? While a lot of folks like to use 2jz's, Rb26's etc... I've been looking at this V10 and I must say I'm intrigued and even more so when I learned that it is derived from Lamborghini. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
JHM typically uses and recommends 5w40 Audi VW 502 or 505 approved oils such as Liquimoly or Motul. We offer and use both in our JHM vehicles and customer cars with excellent results. jhmotorsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=engine+oil
E46325mod your g37 had, well, a few things done to it then! The s6 weighs 4,486 lbs too and the trans is kinda slow shifting even though it makes cool shift noises.
Not bad for a heavy car. Love the sound of the V10.
Great video, killer music, wondrous car & mods! Nice to see the S6/S8 V10 getting some love.
Was not expecting to hear Periphery in a JHM video... ALL MY YES.
Yes, sir!
JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM) Seriously, good call on the Periphery instrumental! Love jammin' this kinda stuff in my 4.2!

They say the same thing about the 24v vr6 where their a will their a way turbos are made for all cars
There is a supercharger kit for the 5.2l s6/s8 but it's like $15,000
@@jonbrock8306 I have a centrifugal I’m going to install on mine I’ve seen it done on the v6 S4 before they mounted it under the passenger headlight

What happened with this program? 2 years and nothing more??

Still super exciting for the possibility of supercharged V10 S6s roaming around lol.
Our typical trend in stage 1 supercharger improvements are around 100-125whp
This just made me feel all tingely inside;)
JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM) how much would it cost installed on s8 5.2?
no supercharger metioned, i don't know where you came up with that. n/a is the way to go, or audi would have put one on it already.
@@JHMotorsportsInc is it available
How did you know that the engine wasn’t externally balanced?
God damn! All that money for a German V10, aftermarket parts and tune for 13's?
I'd be fucking pissed off about that shit.
Its kinda crazy how your guys' stage 1 c6 3.0t is almost .5 faster than this to the 1/4 after all the mods that were done to this
yeah it’s called milking a naturally aspirated engine without increasing displacement
More of the exhaust please!!!
Very nice!!

Hi , very nice work ! one question how much weight does the stock calipers vs the Brembo ? Regards
Thank you. Those are stock calipers just painted and stickered by the previous owner of the car.

These intake manifolds are new Audi parts, they are the most revised and up to date part number for the application.
How much power did the s6 make with the tune
Would be nice to have a good bolt on turbo or supercharge kit
There is a supercharger kit available for the s6/s8 5.2l but it's like $15,000
They have so much rumble for a v10.
I like that you guys used a song by Periphery for this video lol
What's with the flippin' music???
So what are the gains with just the ECM flash? Stock exhaust

These are NA cars. Nobody that we are aware of has turbo'd one, but we are looking into adding a Supercharger!
Actually, the engine was made by Audi.

I love audi's, and want to love this S6 with Lamborghini V10, but it's just so underwhelming in performance and looks, even with these mods.
Get a supercharger or turbo and ill buy it .
I dont get it how is it not that fast ? H9nestly my g37 ran a 12.907 @ 106.8mph with only stickier tires intake and tune.
