- I play through the Caline Honeycomb CP-48. It's a cheap, multi-effects pedal for Acoustic Guitar with processing and effects including EQ, Notch, Reverb, Delay and Chorus.

thank you for your work. great video
Nice video. Looks like a handy little box. Nice for the open mic nights. The highlight of the video was definitely the notch pun. 😀
It drives me nuts when multi effects manufacturers think I wouldn’t want to use reverb and delay at the same time. It happens quite often.
What are the alternatives in this price range? I'm mainly looking for reverb and I'm not sure I'm digging the sound of this reverb
Does it have a looper?
No
When you say wasp I assume you mean the whole vespidae. It might be better to specify that it's a hornet.
So as not a bee then?
@@TheGuitarGeek not even half a bee, yet still living in honeycomb styled hives...
so, a squirrel?
Well i guess float like a chorus effect and sting like a great bass player (get it? ^^) ;)
Hahaha. Best crossover of the year!!! 😉💪
you twit the guitar out is also a head phone jack
Drop the mix down on the chorus and don’t have it so wide. Just use it to thicken up your tone. I thought it was pretty poor to be honest, the reverb was unusable and I’d want delay and reverb on at the same time. The EQ was okay but I recon for less than £50 more you could put together a mini board that did everything except for the XLR out. Much like the product name it was a swing and a miss #FloatLikeAButterflyStingLikeAWasp.
I agree with some of that mate.
What pedals would you use and stay under £50 Genuinely curious.
TheGuitarGeek tc echo brain delay and the cheap chorus that I own. I’m putting an acoustic board together at the moment with those 2 plus the T. rex reverb boost pedal that was 66 quid. I’m sure you could pick up a decent reverb for under 50. The reverb in the cheap tc line has a bad rep though
Afterglow is the chorus.
6:13 ??? That was fun but I’ll stick with just a mix and let the FOH guy deal with the efx or.....just mute me as usual 👿
Ooh get you with a FOH man...
Always bribe the sound guy just not with booze 👍🏽🤘🏽🤑 money or food 👍🏽works best
TheGuitarGeek maybe for you just bribe that vampire camera guy that follows you around the shop🧛🏽♂️
Juri the campire
TheGuitarGeek 😂👌🏽
Nah, sorry. The sound is still like a piezzo sounds without any modification and I will never get how manufacturers can put reverb and delay on one knob. Often enough I want to keep the reverb but kick the delay in at certain times. I think you can go better with a non-acoustic multi-fx in this priceclass or invest more in a better box like Boss' or TC Helicon's acoustic stompboxes. This one just doesn't sound good for me and the functionality is poor imho.
I rarely use delay but I would preferred to lose the chorus and have independent delay and reverb
Wow ... have you looked how many pedals Caline have? You could try out one a week and probably never catch up with them making new ones! Bet there's a few decent ones in there...
Floats like a butterwasp, sings like a flea ...
Yeah they have a lot. I will feature a few more soon.
I don't float like a butterfly and I don't sting at all, not like a bee, not like wasp, not like a hornet.
European Hornets are very peaceful insects, the hardly ever sting, wasps are more likely to sting.
I hate wasps
@@TheGuitarGeek because they are more likely to sting than hornets!
Colour me unimpressed - floats like butterfly stings like a doughnut! Not for me but then it's horses for clichés.
can anyone please post a video of someone playing a damn electric guitar into this thing? who fucking cares if it says it's for acoustic
Why not buy one and make that video yourself?
Oh, dear... A poorly made, badly thought out and horrendous sounding unit - aimed at fleecing beginners..! Not cool Andy!
I disagree Chris. I don’t care whether anyone buys it or not. I’m not selling it and neither did I gain any money from making this video. For the price it’s usable.
@@TheGuitarGeek Sorry Andy but there are too many of these cheap/nasty items on the market... I mean, how could their QC dept ever let it go into production with the XLR out covering the lettering, and the manual saying it has a headphone socket when clearly it doesn't. The sound too was very poor considering what great units you can get from other budget brands, for instance, the Joyo/Mooer Gem Box - to name but one...
I enjoy your videos (and your good self) very much but this one (for me) should have been as a warning to people not to just "click and buy" just because it looks like it has a lot of features but do some research i.e. watch and listen to your videos. Apologies for the rant but this kind of product is only there to make money out of unsuspecting first time buyers... Phew!
Have a beautiful day :-)
@@Oris37 Again Chris, I disagree.
