I've been doing my own hair for a little less than a year now, and I've only been using synthetic hair. I didn't realize I needed to start washing the hair until one of my hairstyles lasted only 3 weeks, and I really should've taken it out at two! My hair was so itchy from the day after I put it in, I knew I had to do something about it. This time I'll be crocheting my hair, and I used this tutorial to clean the hair! It's so clean and it smells amazing (I added some argan oil and mint tea tree oil to the water with the conditioner) and I'm so excited to put clean hair in my head once it dries off. Thank you so much for posting this, you saved me from unnecessary itchy scalp and short-lived hairstyles😭

Thanks because I'm have allergic reaction to these hair types itchy and skin reaction. I have try the apple cider method. Didn't work so I m going try this one please let this work. I want have different hairstyles also.

Yes, if you have a cleansing conditioner at home, you can use it. You can also use just a normal conditioner just that maybe you have to do it twice.

@@destaneelockhart8813 I recommend either hanging to dry or laying the hair down on a towel. Both of these took a day to dry in my experience. If you do use a hair dryer, use it on a low setting
