I need to learn about lures amd whats the best times to use what. I usually stick to shrimp, which has been working fine for me, except the last few days when the rain has been coming. Im obviously new to fishing, so i dont know if weather/time of year can affect fish and what they tend to go after, or what.
@@kingcreed348 it’s definitely easy to overthink. I’m no expert by any means but there definitely is better times of the year and certain conditions or depths for certain types of lures. I have three set ups that I take with me when I go flats fishing. Thats usually a top water, paddle tail, and a popping cork with a shrimp. Also usually keep some spoons on me. If they are not biting that, they usually are not there. I actually plan to do a future video soon about my three go to inshore setups!
Nice. Yeah i keep some minnow baits, couple plastic shrimp, spinners and 2 bags of brined shrimp. But usually if they dont bite shrimp, i know its dead that day and head home, i have some topwater but havent used em yet.@@ShaunYoungfishing
@@kingcreed348 they aren’t biting that they might not be there lol!! Yeah ever since I started kayak fishing more I got tired of using live bait so I switched to artificial and have not fished with live bait in quite a while from the kayak!
