Solid tips. My motto these days is buy last gen and buy refurbished. That's how I got my M1 Pro MBP 14 and iPad 10.
Another hint apple will replace iPhone batteries if yours is degraded, its like $80 and it will feel like a new phone

Love this video!!! I had the 12 Pro up until around Christmas and I only upgraded cause I was beginning to have a few issues with it. I upgraded to the 14. Got it for free through my carrier. Also, I recently got an iPad Air 4 for a steal and also got an Apple Magic Keyboard for a steal as well off eBay. My computer at the moment is a 2011 iMac. It works just fine and for what I use it for, it’s all I need.

I bought my first Apple Watch, a Nike Series 7, just after the Ultra and Series 8 were released.
I’ve just upgraded from iPhone XS to a mint condition iPhone 13 Mini. The only new one I could find for sale was a pink one, but I wanted Product Red.
Currently using a 5th Generation iPad Mini, but waiting impatiently for the announcement re the 7th Gen - have already checked what trade-in Apple should give me.

what do you mean memory sharing?
Yes, you can technically do it, but no, it's not recommended, since it is a terrible experience and you will immediately notice once it starts using the page file on the external SSD.
Frankly, you will probably start to notice when it does it on the internal SSD.
You need to let Apple extract the money from you to get at least 16 gigs of RAM if you plan on only needing an ultra low end budget machine purely for web browsing and some document editing for the next 10 years, otherwise you need to get 32.
My 2017 iPad Pro 10.9" is taking longer and longer to charge and the charge lasts less and less time. I want to get the 10.9”/11” iPad Air rather than the Pro because it does everything I want and I don’t need the extra camera etc features of the Pro. Opinion - if you have time - is it better to get the current version or wait for the 2024 to launch - if they ever get around to it? I understand the price is going to be the same or pretty close.
The 2024 version is coming out on the 26th March. If you can wait until then, then do. this will allow you to either buy the newest version or get the older version for cheaper just for the sake of waiting 7 days

@@techdude2121 , thanks for sharing. I have considered replacing the battery, but there are 2 issues. My iPad is considered vintage, which means it is unlikely (not confirmed yet but I will) to be eligible for repair. Also, as iPadOS gets more sophisticated, my 7 year old iPad is coming up on its update limit. I’m not sure I’m up for spending $100-200 to install a new battery (if I even can) just to have my iPad no longer able to upgrade.
I use my iPads several hours a day, so waiting until my iPad is unusable is not an option. I can currently get a trade-in about equal to the price of a new battery (if I can even replace it). So perhaps you can see why I am considering a new device.
Chris, you've reminded me to continue to ignore the "UPGRADE FOR A SAVINGS OF....." emails from my carrier. I paid off my 13 Pro Max 3 months ago, and I'm loving not having any cell pay down charges on my bill. And since the 13 is basically fine for what I need, with little nor no wear, and the battery is still over 90 percent - I'm gonna hold out, as my dad would've said, 'Until the wheels fall off!' And by then, it might be the 16 or 17 Pro Max, with "Projected Reality" or whatever new thing Apple dreams up.
ESR Gear makes the best Magic Keyboard “clone” and I think it is nicer than Apple’s 1st party option.
The ESR keyboard case was my go to until I found an absolute steal on an Apple Magic Keyboard on eBay.
@@terrywarnold I have the Magic Keyboard Also. The full MacBook like function keys on the ESR unit set it apart for be as a prefered choice. Plus they key travel is a bit deeper (M2-M3 MacBook Pro like) than the iPad Magic Keyboard (MacBook Air like).

Sorry to say a long term user of the logi touch keyboard is a waste of money, wish I had brought the Apple one, it never it comes out of my bedroom and it has come away at the sides does not fit properly anymore the best thing about is stand and keyboard comes way and that it, oh and rubber has perished away also.
“Save hundreds on Apple products” buy a Logitec keyboard rather than the Apple Magic Keyboard. 🙄
I guess another tip might be that you can save money on an iPad pro if you buy a Galaxy tablet.
