a kid i knew from hs commited suicide last week. his funeral was yesterday so i came back to watch this. this song helped me so so much when i went through a really bad breakup over the summer and was so depressed i couldnt eat, i couldnt sleep, and i cried constantly. i just started speaking my truth and when people asked me if i was okay i would honestly tell them no. i love you gabbie. your music means so much to all of us

Exactly :( I miss how she was, I always used to listen to this song, I commented on a previous user here and she gave me a heart three years ago. She’s just so different and off now, compared to how she was, I watched her recent tiktoks and I can’t recognize her. I always made snacks and watched her videos and storytimes after school and it really breaks my heart seeing how she changed, I used to be able to connect to her and feel what she said, now it’s not like that anymore.

Wow... this is deep. I have a theory that this is Gabbie going through the seven stages of grief. She’s in denial as some of the pictures fade into view. it’s like her mind is saying that she’s still making memories with her boyfriend 0:01. She goes through anger as she rips the pictures of the wall 1:08 (couldn’t find one for bargaining). When she’s on the Ferris wheel the look on her face tells that she’s depressed and the flashes between her alone and with him it’s like she’s reflecting on their past time. Finally her lyrics “time to let it go” 2:13 shows that she’s finally accepting her loss and starts to move on.

The way I understand this song is that she doesn't mean he is a ghost in the literal sense, but the memory of him and their love haunts her. He left her and never looked back. She is at the funeral of their love that once was but no longer exist. It is not the guy that is dead, but their love. I haven't read her book, this is just how I like to think of the meaning of the song, because it's something I can relate to. Such a great video. Gabbie is much more than "just" a viner who became a youtuber. I am usually not a "fan" of people, but Gabbie is such an inspiration!

I absolutely love this song. My boyfriend recently suddenly passed away at 22 and this hit me really hard. I wasn't expecting it to end like this. It was difficult to watch the full thing through but it was really beautifully done.

Okay. So I have a thought. I think that the whole GabbieShow to Gabbie Hanna wasn’t just to show that she’s changed but to prove how she’s changed. Shows are usually scripted or fake or not totally real. I think this is symbolizing how she wasn’t being herself and how she acted a little different online than who she really was. She talked about this in one of her recent videos that she’s finally made peace and tranquillity with herself. I think her transformation from hiding herself to embracing herself was shown through her username. I hope this is true because it’s truly beautiful. ❤️

This is the song that caught my attention...I fell in love with it the first time I heard it.
Seeing all she's going through these last few days on tiktok whether she's causing this intentionally or its due to a mental illness...it breaks my heart to see where she is now.
She's actually a very talented singer. I just think somewhere along the way she lost sight of herself.
Watching her mental breakdowns on social media is truly heartbreaking. Some say it's for attention and that may be the case, but a person going to such extremes for attention...they're really not in a healthy place mentally or spiritually if you think about it.
Not sure if you'll ever see this Gabbie and I know I'm a total stranger but I am praying for you.
