Is it just me or is anybody else expecting a further installment of "Future Chris"? The whole thing of him being held hostage, forced to do puzzles and being spied on is building nicely towards a new "Mega Puzzle"! I can't wait!!

Hear me out: a three-part Collab with @Tested.
Part 1, Adam tours Chris' office and Chris walks him through a few puzzles (videos on both channels).
Part 2, Chris solves a puzzle designed and built by Adam (here).
Part 3, build video of Adam designing and building the puzzle (on Tested).
I would love to see this happen. I bet Adam could come up with some really interesting mechanisms.

03:45 You can get that sort of finish with a borosillicate plate on your printer's hotbed. You're basicly printing onto heat resistant glass. You do have to use something on it to make the print stick though, I used cheap, tacky feeling hairspray.
A Smooth PEI sheet will give you a similar effect
The puzzle guy sure is good with playing cards, and I like how he uses Chris Ramsay's playing cards who happens to be a really good magician. Maybe one day y'all can collaborate. You kind of look the same too now that I think about it.

Me too. I hope it's building up to something. The first video that featured Chris under observation in that cool looking room where everything looked futuristic and was solving the Loki lock puzzle (if I remember correctly) was so cool.

While the traffic lights are often mounted horizontally in Quebec, in most of North America, they are mounted vertically with Red at the top.

I bought this puzzle off of puzzle master a a few months ago, took me about 2 hours to take apart and put back together, hands down one of my favorite puzzles I have solved

No coating for the shiny surface. It just depends on the print surface. Printing on glass or on g-10 will do that finish

A big hint was in the card you received. I kept thinking why would he be so specific in saying yellow, green and red unless he was hinting in the order they should be opened.

Shiny flat parts on 3D prints mean it was printed on a piece of glass instead of the “rougher” beds.

I feel like to make that puzzle just perfect. The creator should make the lights change and then I can be a table decoration also.
I thought the green would have been the last to open because of the way they listen them in the instructions. Yellow, red, green. Seemed odd that they would list them in that order.

Wow that's funny. I only subbed to your channel about 15 mins before this was uploaded. I watched you Faro shuffle tutorial & trick about 2-3 weeks ago as I wanted to learn the Faro shuffle. I really liked the trick & so decided that once I could do a reasonable Faro I'd return & learn the trick & did that about 90 odd minutes ago. I liked the trick so much & your tips that I decided you'd earned my sub & so I did... LOL.

The puzzle is printed on a glass surface , thats why it's reflective. This is a good indication of a well calibrated printer.

Hey you do some great puzzles and puzzle boxes. I really like to ones that you did that were from labstireum i think. They had a really cool storyline along with them. Hope to see more of those in the future. I know the videos take a long time to make. But like the ones with stories with them.

He likely printed it on a glass build plate. The surface in contact with the glass will be shiny.

Told you the light covers were for DECORATION ONLY in the directions that you read lol
the brittleness of 3d printed parts is the byproduct of printing with weak materials at too high of a temperature. it means you can print really quickly and cheaply but lose structural integrity. i print with material so strong that it can be compared to metals and i use it to replace metal parts in heavy duty mechanical use cases but every part is more than double the price and takes about 4 times longer to print. PETG at 250c is a really good middle ground that you need to ask for to get parts than can survive your hands or even the sun as the cheap stuff can melt in the sun. the cheap stuff is more environmentally friendly though.
