Will do Ted! Itching to start driving this TJ again to see what it can do. I'm sure there are many things that need to be adjusted but it's been too long since I last drove my TJ.
Thanks Forest! It helps that I've now messed with a NP231 a few times, once you kind of figure out how it all goes together it really is a very simple transfer case to work on.
Very cool, just did my jb super short sye and Tera 2low kit. I was a little weary torqueing that big nut to 200' pounds. I gave jb a call and they said 180 to 200. I set my torque wrench to 185. Where on the east coast do you live? I'm in Connecticut.
@@RustyAutoholicGuy thanks for the quick reply. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't have any tolerance issues. The wider chain is a ¼ wider totaling 1¼ wide. Again, thanks for the quick reply 👍
Woo Hoo! Parts! Keep moving forward, wanna see this back on the road!!!!

2wd Low? Very cool, you made the modification look so quick and easy.

Did anybody else see an oil pickup tube for the oil pump?

I wish I had known that, I probably would have done 185ft/lbs as well! I'm on the border on Virginia and North Carolina near Martinsville.
Did you run the stock chain or go with the wider one? Thanks
I went with a wider chain though I can't remember the exact length.
